Thanks for sharing and your modification. Personally I prefer the logo at the side rather than stacking on top. Works like a charm on my i3GS 3.0 (Update)iPhone 3.1 OS MALAYSIA Telco Carrier Logos, ipcc file

Just a note, at first my didn't work and I bring it back to Maxis Centre. The trick is easy, make sure you have already activated your 3G (*136# for Maxis user).
After you load the .ipcc file into your iPhone, restart your phone, or preferably take out and put in your SIM card again. Mine work with this method, also, unet and net will be affected by 3G activation. |

QUOTE(ynchan @ Aug 12 2009, 05:30 PM) Hi guys, I downloaded the IPCC file and its enabled since I can see the carrier logo has changed and I get the Cellular Network Data option. However, I tried inputting some fake data for the APN, Username, and Password but EDGE is still enabled. I was having the exactly same situation with you but I found a solution an hour ago. Just follow this pictorial and post up your result here. As for me, I've tested and it works like a charm on my iPhone 3GS version 3.0. Upon installation I couldn't connect to anything anymore and I can simply delete the settings and restore back to use my EDGE and 3G again.Am I missing something? I thought I would be able to disable EDGE if I input fake data into the settings. Please advise. Using iPhone 3GS (OS 3.0) iTunes 8.2 (Win Vista) Thanks in advance. 5 Steps To Disable iPhone 3Gs OS 3.0 GPRS or Edge Connection |

QUOTE(fangcheng @ Aug 23 2009, 10:10 AM) hey guys, No this action is not consider as jailbreak. You will still have your warranty from Maxis the only consequence is they will be wondering how in the world did you get the Maxis logo. I've brought back my phone with this ipcc to Maxis and this is what I experience.Put this logo into the iphone is consider a jailbreak? If i put this logo into my iphone, i still have the warranty from maxis? Thanks |
