Hi guys, I downloaded the IPCC file and its enabled since I can see the carrier logo has changed and I get the Cellular Network Data option. However, I tried inputting some fake data for the APN, Username, and Password but EDGE is still enabled.

Am I missing something? I thought I would be able to disable EDGE if I input fake data into the settings. Please advise.

Using iPhone 3GS (OS 3.0)
iTunes 8.2 (Win Vista)

slightly unrelated, but I had updated to OS3.1 but I don't seem to see a separate meter for tethering data. I had previously installed the IPCC file which allowed me to disable EDGE...is this what messed it up?
