york definitely noisy esp 3hp, even the indoor blower fan set to min, it still noisy but their service is good lar, call them for to check the flipper noise turn up on the same day

Called york service hotline 130088-#### on 11-01-2012 4pm...for my master room 2hp cassette flipper noise and living 3hp indicater led not lite up when turn on.

Their technician turn up yesterday 1pm sharp as appointment n job done in 30 minutes .

Two thumb up for their after sales service .

I saw the technician just bend little bit the flipper motor steel leg and reinstalled it. I asked, he blamed their production n Qc.

BTW mine is cassette unit

why not, call the number on your warranty card & give them your indoor unit serial no....

can but not recommend... drill hole on beam?? u mean drill wall plug to hang the in door unit or drill a big hole to run the copper piping & drain pipe??

just bot a Mitsubishi 1.5hp MS-GF13VC @rm850 cash n carry, i ask for 1.0hp but was given 1.5hp, didn't check and only notice this morning when my a/c man start to install it, got to pay him extra to mod the copper piping too

Is the ground floor small guest room, hardly use...extra chsrge for insatllation is rm40, so consider untung lor

nah, i have no intention to cheat them or what so ever...

as i already make appointment with my a/c guy to come on sunday morning, i just go to the elec shop near by my house to buy a cheapest air/con to cover the last ugly piping & wire, btwn the ready stock mitshu, samsung & sharp i choose mitshu & even ask them to open the indoor unit's box to check on the remote control timer on/off function (as i know mitshu have lousy timer function, just want to see whether they have improve )

York n daikin abang adik use same compressor, york have more btu than daikin. York have better remote control than daikin n mistu.
Mitshu 7years warranty for compressor, quiet but remote as lousy as daikin, no real clock timer on ..off
