which consumes more power ?

aircond set at 16C, low fan,

or set at 25C , high fan ?
*
Sure 16c. Anyway if you set 25c, sometime rainy day outside is about 24c. Better open up windows let outside wind come in much better.

For me anything 24 and above is very stuffy.

oh thanks, because fan is just fan right? and low temperatur means it needs more energy to heat the air to convert to cold eh

i combine 25C with table fan. cool and breezy smile.gif

Depend, like now raining night can be as low as 24c, so is cooler than room a/c set to 25c. What I do switch on ventilation fan, so it will suck in outdoor air into my room + fan. Got fresh air, and cooling.

If you switch on a/c set 25c, since is in close room, the room temperature will increase so your a/c compressor will switch on and work. It may not work too frequent, but it still take more energy comparing ventilation + fan.

I normally will set the aircon ON for 2 hours included turn the fan ON, where it will make the room cooling faster. 2 hours down the road, the room cool, aircon auto OFF, I already sleep like baby lol...safe $$$ too

Advantage is much more smile.gif

Using inverter of 3 main point.

1st comfort on 25-27c temp.
(even on raining day, if set on 27c outside compressor cut off but internal does not feel the air is cut and keep warm to restart again.
Cause of non-inverter even you set in 25c still feel very hot & slowly to keep that room cooling down.

2nd. Energy saving on everyday usage for Rm30++ per mths of 8-12hrs x 30days.

3rd. Quiet & realible.
Worry free of after 3 years compressor noisy,
Inverter compressor all using DC and reduce all the vibration when on & off.

The main point still keep you very comfort and energy saving for used more.

The reason being is inverter air cond only save you electricity if you on continuously for 4-5 hours straight or so. If you on for a short period of time, there is no different in consumption between both inverter or non inverter.

inverter aircond is not you said only saving for operate at 4-5 hours.

there is when you start and faster keep cold and reduce the power consumption from 800w - 200w per hours.

cause the non-inverter may need taking 1 to 2 hours for keep cold down the room temperature.
once is reached and stop the main compressor and most of the time just listen the compressor on & off until next morning or set to lower at 22c to be force the compressor slowly to stop running.

the inverter is when the temperature is reached and to be reduce the minimum speed to keep it same temp. and also reduce the outside fan speed.

so your bill on 1 - 3 hours still payment the minimum of power consumption of 200w per / hr.

cause my house all using the mitsubishi electric on living hall & 3 bedroom for operates at 8-12 per day the bill is less than Rm200< per months.

living hall for 2.5hp & 3 bedroom for 1hp x 3.

why not pay extra fews bucks for installed and keep your monthly bill lower.

NOW GO FOR GREEN AND NO MORE FOR NON-INVERTER FOR YOUR NEW HOUSE.
SAID GOOD BYE OF NON-INVERTER.

everyday & night just on & off for what.... rclxub.gif

Mostly people like to see the purchasing price cheaper. Imagine buying few non inverter aircon and save thousand already. They never care about the usage cost cause they deal it later.

Mostly experience and 2nd user will try inverter aircon.

Depend, if the saving is Say RM 50 per month, how many months do you think it need to use before ROI? maybe 2 or 3 years if we buy many AC at once. For shot period users maybe ROI is much longer.

Cause the non-inverter for salesman can earn better commission.

Once you installed and the rest you will facing the trouble on monthly bill for 1hp at Rm100++ or higher usage.

The inverter only take your bill around Rm30++ for fews monthly later your installed fee and extra cost for inverter to be reback already.

Please do the math how you get RM100++ vs RM30++, you need to have proof of claim before putting the number. Even Panasonic say is 30%, but you get 70%.

Even at 30%, that is optimum level, it may not even hit that rate fro difference usage environment. I am a regular A/C user before and my bill does not even go RM 100++ for one A/C. And now with Inverter, the difference is only like rm 10+- per month.

http://panasonic.asia/ecoideas/ecoproducts...onditioner.html

Reduces energy consumption by up to 30%*1.

*1 Comparison of 1.5HP Inverter model with ECONAVI Dual Sensor ON and OFF (Cooling).

<ECONAVI Dual Sensor ON Outside temperature: 35°C/24°C>
Remote setting temperature: 25°C with Fan Speed (High)
Vertical Airflow direction: Auto, Horizontal Airflow Direction: ECONAVI Mode
Setting temperature goes up 1°C controlled by ECONAVI activity level
<ECONAVI Dual Sensor OFF Outside temperature: 35°C/24°C>
Remote setting temperature: 25°C with Fan Speed (High)
Vertical Airflow direction: Auto, Horizontal Airflow Direction: Front
Total power consumption amount are measured for 1 hour in stable condition
At Panasonic Amenity Room (size:16.2m2)
This is the maximum energy saving value, and the effect differs according to conditions in installation and usag

Added on February 7, 2012, 4:34 pmAnd the most if possible is 50% from Panasonic Malaysia, which need to set temperature to 25c, for lower temperature users saving will be much lesser.

Intelligent Inverter technology provides a high-precision method of maintaining the room set temperature by varying the rotation speed of the compressor; thus giving you energy savings of up to 50%.
*Comparison of 1.5HP Inverter model and 1.5HP Non-Inverter model

Outside temperature: 35ºC/24ºC
Remote setting temperature: 25ºC with Fan speed (High)
Vertical Airflow direction: Auto
Horizontal Airflow direction: Front

Total power consumption amount are measured for 8 hours from starting.
At Panasonic Amenity Room (size:16.6m²)
This is the maximum energy saving value, and the effect differs according to conditions in installation and usage.
