I bought a Panasonic CS-S10MKH and CS-S13MKH at RM1,165 and RM1,495 respectively and price are w/o installation.

I was quoted the Daikin FTKS50GVMG/RKS50GVMG (2HP, inverter type, R410A refrigerent) at RM2,950 w/o installation, and RM3,450 with installation.

More contractor talk regarding air-cond brands.
This time is regarding Mitsubishi.
My wiring contractor and wetwork contractor was discussing what type of air cond I should choose since I gave up on Daikin due to its unique wiring requirement.
When I brought up Mitsubishi, they nick named this air cond as the rich man's air cond.
This is because many of its compressor parts uses PCB, printed circuit board.
If rosak hafta replace PCB most of the time.

guys, how does the aircond contractor direct the drain pipe from the head unit of the aircond other then pulling a pipe outside to the roof?

The reason is i want to ask some indon to hack the wall for copper laying, so the aircond contractor can just come and lay without hacking.

Drain pipe use gravity, so all the way down. This is how water work. If you put drain pipe up the roof, your a/c is above the roof? Common sense please.

Bro, who's stupid enough to lead the drainpipe up onto the top of the roof.

What I meant by directing to the roof is the roof above the ground floor around the house. Not the roof as the roof top.

You meant you want to ask your contractor to ready a pipe and conceal it so that in future the aircon folk could just lay the copper cable through the pipe, rights?

Something like that, but I will do the hacking and the aircond guys just only come and lay the copper pipes.

Just want to know normally where do installers redirect the aircond drain pipes when conceal?

This was suggested by my aircond contractor if i wanted to save on the cost of hacking since my house is currently undergoing a major renovation.

How much you will save up by asking your contractor to conceal instead of aircon folk?
As you need to pay you contractor to hack the wall (No free job lal), and if the pipe position not correct, who will redo the conceal?
If the cost not much different, I will say ask the aircon folk to do it lol, so that end of day anything wrong will be he problem.
