Any particular reason why you'd prefer panasonic over sharp? Wanna understand more from your perspective

I had an interesting conversation with the air-cond service man that came to service my mom's house.
My mom is using York and Panasonic air-cond.
He does all brands air-cond service (chap pa lang)
I asked what he thinks is the best brand. 
With the current advertisement, I wanted to install Panasonic. 

Below are the salient points of our discussion

1. Daikin - It has the best build (thicker material), good quality, good technology, No.1 in Singapore, has links with Acson and York, he totally recommend, price not much different than Panasonic, was absent from Malaysia market awhile due to bad distributor but now making a strong comeback thus no problem with spare-parts, loud because it has a strong blower thus cools the room faster, only air cond with inverter that can use regular gas.

2. Panasonic - The build has gone thinner, the second brand he recommend after Daikin, well established in Malaysia thus no problem with spare parts,
loud because it has a strong blower thus cools the room faster.

Other brands - avoid if possible

A Korean brand who also produce mobile phone - avoid like plague. 

Reporting from KL. 

Not same wiring.

You need minimal 4 wires.
1 - Live
1 - Neutral
1 - Ground
1 - Control signal
1 - Control Signal secondary.

Some need 5 wires. Best is get 5 wires. My Panasonic need 4 wires, when i ask for Sharp, it need 5 Wires.

So best put 5. And if possible use all Inverter copper piping future to change A/C is much easier. I did a mistake by saving only RM 500+-, Should have use all Inverter piping. 10 Years later maybe hard to get non inverter, and got to redo piping.

Can daikin works with only 3 wire? I never knew that there's a specific condition. Is Daikin any good? if its the only way why not then. Rather than paying him to hack the wall again.

Which model is that may I know ?

Having headache now really dunno which brand to buy. Anyone here using Mitsubishi air cond. Went to 3 shops and 2 of them highly recommended it. Dunno bcoz of commission or wat...

phoenix, I am using Sharp as well. 2 units of 1hp with ion for 3yrs so far not problem. how much did you paid for the sharp?

I saw my aircon compressor fan stop spinning once but then it start spinning again. I didn't stand there to monitor the compressor if it's stop again but I do realize that the compressor fan keep spinning at the same speed most of the time but I not sure whether it's spinning at full load or just partial load. The wind generated from the compressor is quite strong.

This is the temperature I set: 26c with 2 bar fan. Daikin 1HP Inverter.

Could it be the sensor wiring is not done properly?

Why is that the power supply for the aircon? Never see before.

just bot a Mitsubishi 1.5hp MS-GF13VC @rm850 cash n carry, i ask for 1.0hp but was given 1.5hp, didn't check and only notice this morning when my a/c man start to install it, got to pay him extra to mod the copper piping too

Is the ground floor small guest room, hardly use...extra chsrge for insatllation is rm40, so consider untung lor
