maybe all brand inverter aircond can use non-inverter copper pipe in future due to advance technology coming that time, all aircond manufacturers consider this market in future as no need for consumers change thier exist copper pipe. just to my cent... tongue.gif

In Europe, the direct replacement of R22 gas is R417A, all R22 design system can use R417A just need to fill bit more say 10% more than standard R22 filling.

Maybe Malaysia will adopt this too. So copper can be standard like R22 biggrin.gif

hmm... i cant afford 3 x 2HP too, dont forget the electricity bill  rclxub.gif

Here is my floor plan, smaller than yours, hope 2HP in Living and 1HP in Dry kitchen is sufficient.

Living hall 2hp, and dining area 1hp should give you some cooling, if you really like cold like i do, is really not enough. I like minimal 20c

My style, if want cold make it cold. not "5354". I can stand cold or hot but not stuffy.

I guess most with have or similar design floor plan like above, hence just want in place there.

I plan to (already purchased) place 2.5HP (Living) + 1.5HP (Dinner area), as I didn't see that will possiable make my area cool except if I inplace door at stracase and entry before the Kitchen area...

I used Mitsubishi Mr Slim 7 years ago. After 1 year, quite a lot of problem. 1st of all, it not as cool as new even i dont the regular chemical full service annually. 2nd, the aircon vent is dripping water when entering 2nd year. 3rd year, the board faulty and the temp control go haywire, even i set 25, the compressor will not stop, continuous running not stop and the temp is like 16 sad.gif after this incident, i gave up.

After i moved to my new condo, i bought Panasonic, happily even after and pana serving me well for 3 years + now and i will move them to my new landed house soon.

That's my experience only and is 7 years ago. Now should be improved already. Or maybe my luck is bad.

My LG 32 LCD also spoilt 2 times already. Now is the 3rd board from LG tongue.gif

Sometime is all about luck too.

From past experience I found the National are much more reliable, but after the single brand to Panasonic is no longer that case.

Totally agree!
I don't have luck on this kind of thing one.
Even my car, within 1 year, wheel bearing spoil twice.
House, normal water filter for washing machine burst once and drinking water filter keep leaking one.
sigh.....

so dont come close to me to avoid my bad luck whistling.gif
