QUOTE(ableze_joepardy @ Nov 23 2011, 03:11 PM) i think this standard wireless series.. without econavi, autocomfort etc. does econavi/autocomfort really benificial? Yes, the most basic one. I only want cool air, not the rest of the features therefore these are the most basic model.

Is there a way to check the wiring is done for inverter? My contractor did two sets of aircond wiring. One is inside master bedroom and the other one is in the living hall. This is the sample of his job for my master bedroom. inverter for 1-1.5hp I haven't paid him on hacking and concealing yet so want to confirm if this is really done for inverter type aircond. Many thanks in advance.

This is the comment that I received from Panasonic Malaysia pertaining to my inverter aircon. "Please note that installing Panasonic wall mounted Inverter type of air conditioner [1.0hp – 2.5hp using R410A as refrigerant] requires a minimum of 0.6mm thickness of copper piping and indoor and outdoor units must be connected with 4 wires (which are live, neutral, communication and earth wires). "
Hope this helps...

QUOTE(Uzumaki NaruTo @ Nov 29 2011, 09:51 AM) well need to go back home and measure the thickness then. many thanks for the feedback If your coppers are too thin, then I think you can look at Daikin. I think Daikin advertises their as being able to work with normal copper piping. You can go double check.

The installer put in 3 wires, even if your copper is thick for inverter your selection of inverter a/c is limited. Cause some inverter use 5 wires, and some use 4 wires.
If the copper hose is for inverter, you can still use some of the inverter (4 wires) by using the copper hose as earth, the red = Live, Black = neutral, and green = Signal/communication.

QUOTE(Jo_da48 @ Nov 29 2011, 05:36 PM) Is he expect you buy Daikin Inverter? Can daikin works with only 3 wire? I never knew that there's a specific condition. Is Daikin any good? if its the only way why not then. Rather than paying him to hack the wall again.

Daikin Power point, next to compressor (outside) Others Power point, next to air cond (inside).

Rather than paying him to hack the wall again. Daikin is supposedly the best. They also own OYL (York, Ascon, and others)

Best is to get the supplier/ installer of the aircon that you intend to get to take a look at the piping and wiring. He should be the best person to advice.

Go to the compressor area check how many cable. That is the best.
The cable outside the hose could be incoming power. Or maybe is signal control. If signal control it will terminate at the compressor area too.
