What I heard from my a/c guy is York compressor will get noisy after used for few years...
That's the only problem with York..

Not sure, but is good to pull 5 wires. Won't cost much. Another method i learn from the A/C installer is use the earth wire as secondary controller wire, and use the copper pipe as Ground. So 4 wire is possible to use Sharp too.

Nope, cause wires also made of copper. But you plan to use inverter, just put 5 wires better.

Living hall and dry kitchen are together. Dinning area is in between living all and dry kitchen, all open area.

In Europe, the direct replacement of R22 gas is R417A, all R22 design system can use R417A just need to fill bit more say 10% more than standard R22 filling.

Maybe Malaysia will adopt this too. So copper can be standard like R22

Living hall 2hp, and dining area 1hp should give you some cooling, if you really like cold like i do, is really not enough. I like minimal 20c

The previous pana model that I had for a few years is OK.
For the newer model, still having noise problem from the blower unit on 2 of the 4 units.
Even the Pana's technician have yet to resolve the problem

i've not come across any shops that'll deduct RM200+ if without installation. the highest i've come across is RM160 only  

lee yung, the copper pipe used is .71mm or .61mm? i heard now days even intaller used .61mm despite manufaturer recommened to used .71mm cp.

Please do the math how you get RM100++ vs RM30++, you need to have proof of claim before putting the number. Even Panasonic say is 30%, but you get 70%.

Even at 30%, that is optimum level, it may not even hit that rate fro difference usage environment. I am a regular A/C user before and my bill does not even go RM 100++ for one A/C. And now with Inverter, the difference is only like rm 10+- per month.

I been using this method for many years. So far all the a/c still good. Only one die due to old age.
