I initially planned to get Hitachi R-WB850P5M, but due to the big size (915mm wide), I decided to get Panasonic NR-YW590YMMM (750mm wide). Really tired to survey anymore. Give up and hopefully is a good buy.

QUOTE(menghua84 @ May 31 2022, 01:00 AM) thanks for the response. So far so good with the fridge? ya when i check it at physical store the vegetable compartment seems plastic feel and the drawers seems not closed tight enough. But eyeing on this model due to the big drawers. Yes, I am satisfy with the fridge so far. Very quiet and spacious! I like the bottom freezer and it can accommodate a lot of groceries. |

It should be fine because it has PrimeFresh+, which keeps meat/fish at -3°C if you intend to prepare them within 7 days without the need to be entirely frozen, requiring no thawing. |

QUOTE(SIEWBAO @ Jun 7 2022, 10:07 AM) Is toshiba good? toshiba fridge seems not so popular, but i attracted by their matte colour. lol. I owned a Toshiba Single-Door GR-S21 for more than ten years before upgrading to a larger model from Hitachi to match the needs of my current family. The old one is still with me, and I plan to use it as a backup when cleaning up the new one.or is there other recommended fridge with matte colour? The GR-S21 model is now replaced by GR-S185SH which is exactly the same design. https://www.toshiba-lifestyle.com/my/refrig...or-Refrigerator However, Toshiba's home appliance business has been bought by Midea Group. So, I don't know how good it is now under Midea. Similarly, Hitachi's home appliances division launched a joint venture with the Turkish firm Arcelik in 2021. Well, I can tell you that Hitachi's Malaysia branch's after-sales support following the JV has not recovered since the pandemic. It is very difficult to get a response from its support contact and email at the moment. Strangely, I've just got an email from Arcelik Hitachi (hitachimail66 at gmail.com) promoting this thing... ![]() For your info, Arcelik owns the Beko brand. Not fingerprint magnet or is there other recommended fridge with matte colour? I'd say just buy it. Fridge in general is generic in design and operation. Any well known brand would be just about the same. Perhaps buy the one which is closer in support to your address. |
