Nowadays, there are so many brand to choose for refrigerator... rclxub.gif
e.g. LG, Panasonic, Hitachi, Electrolux, Samsung, Haier

Which brand do you recommend?
Preferably a durable and long lasting fridge... oh yeah, and also affordable...

*shrugs* I use a Electrolux and it is okay. I think any fridge you get can work well for at least 5-10 years if not longer so long as it is well taken care of. I don't recommend fridges with fancy ice and water dispensers though as it seems to require more maintanence.

Otherwise, get a fridge with long warranty and option to renew if necessary.

maytag has to be the best at the moment. kelvinator is now made in australia, so for those who are looking for a made in the USA fridge they might want to stick with maytag. electrolux is always reliable. i don't trust sharp, samsung etc. too new in the market.

@johnsonm,
The new fridge mom purchased when we shifted a couple of years ago seems to be working fine by me; it's a Samsung btw - except we don't quite like the side by side doors; maybe we just don't know how to utilise space but we find it not spacious enough tongue.gif
