Dear Vin Ann,

Really??? GOshhh... i rem that... HSBC ppl called to my hr dept but the director went out so she didn't able to pick up. According to the hr director's secretary, the ppl was very rude and impatient hanging off the call... And now i know its abt the cc... sobbbbb... its ok then..im trying amex.. tx anyway...  wub.gif

so just pray when the CC people call to ur company pray for ur HR able to give confirmation lol....

last time i recomend my colleague apply citibank through my fren who is works in citibank. at 1st his application got rejected bcoz un-able to confirm. perhaps the HR manager was not around. later my friend asked me, who is the person in charge for this, and i let her know the person in charge name.

after tht my fren got his citi CC.

Added on August 23, 2008, 8:26 pmgosh .. now i wonder if my rejected reason is due to unable to confirm shocking.gif

The agent only request for my direct office line (not my manager) ...
I often not able to pick up my office phone lol ...

But I got receive ONE call from HSBC to my handphone for verification. Is this the call ?

If not able to reach me, maybe I can simply give my colleague ext .. no harm right tongue.gif

Yes, I recommend both of u to try MBF, after 1 year then try to apply other bank using 'prompt card' method.
My first card is MBF. Reason being other banks always rejecting my applications at that time sad.gif

I wonder does majority of you guys here settle the cc bill in total or just min ?

Afaik, every month as long as pay min amount, mean no blacklist or ccris or ctos whatever right ? but the following month will be charge interest

Gee. I used my MBB CC to pay for petrol in Petronas this morning, and when I checked my balance in the evening, it was 200 bucks! I thought I pump only like 30 bucks?

Called up their helpdesk and they told me to wait until the next billing cycle and it would be adjusted automatically.

Did you swipe your card in the cashier counter or at the pump itself ?

Its kinda incovenient to limit max fuel pump of up to rm200. My friend's car take in about rm300 fuel needed 2 cards instead of one everytime.

this is normal laa.. i also kena once and shocked like u. the actual amount will be charged to ur account and the RM200 will be gone in a day. if u check the transactions in m2u..u can't see the RM200 details 1. it's like pre-authorisation amount e.g. hotel etc.

i really dont have any CC....

but when i knew bout' 0% for easy pay installment for any kind of stuff ( check out BSN CC ), its kinda cool beb....

so, how the things work eh? does it really good to do installment with 0% interest....

ya know, now everything have to think twice before shopping / or buy high price thing one shot...

any idea guys?

i read from UOB website that for CC cancellation, they will charge us money. but if i return the CC to the bank, i'll not be charge right?

Service Fee on card cancellation
For card cancellation in Visa or MasterCard not returned to the Bank

RM25.00 or the amount in the credit balance in the account, whichever is lower, is payable when the card is cancelled for any reasons whatsoever.

usually if swipe at cashier and you request full tank..they will do a pre-authorisation amount. they should reverse the amount after you complete the fill-up
