I doubt it takes immediate effect as CCRIS will be update every 10th or every 15th calendar month

QUOTE(David83 @ Jan 24 2015, 12:05 AM)
Of course it won't take effect immediately. Whatever you printed from the kisok or got from via email is usually 1 month delay.

As for my case on RHB CC, they're not removed from the CCRIS database/report even though I have cancelled it for > 1 year.

As for Citibank, they're pretty efficient.

I do agreed with David83 as I do having the SAME Situation like him, before... nod.gif

How long does it take for your Citi to remove from your CCRIS?

I think need go to branch and cancel / cut the chip in front of the officer and get official cancellation letter and this should be faster?

I don't know since I cancelled it on September 2014.

I printed the report in November 2014 but the report is dated for October 2014.

Most of my clients still find their cancelled credit cards still available on their CCRIS reports after a few days of cancellation. Cancellation happened before the 15th or even 10th, and the reports printed a few days later still show the credit cards

Hi guys,

Let's just say;

XX is due to repay RM1k/month to the bank.
So first 4months, he paid on time {no delay in paying}.

However, on the 5th month onwards, he didn't pay.

So if he were to check his CCRIS record on the 10th month,
is this how it will look like?

Jan - 0
Feb - 0
Mar - 0
Apr - 0

May - 1
June - 2
July - 3
Aug - 4
Sep - 5
Oct - 6

guys, need your professional advise...am trying to help out a fren who is in dire need of some serious help....she's single mother 1 schooling kid, just divorced.....her ex hubby bankruptcy case since they got married. so this wonderful lady ended up having all sort of loans and credit card debts under her name totaling to RM150K....i advised her to take 1 single loan to settle off everything but seems she got under the ctos & ccris radar, most likely due to delayed/no payments and stuff. according to her, the bank is not approving the loan because of this..... both hse and car still under finance, she has not much of saving since she needs to take care of her son alone....she's in IT field and earns approx RM5k a month...her family pretty much has washed their hands because of the whole messy marriage and divorce...her ex of 10 years was a control freak, she doesnt have my frens....so she's feeling so lost (and not thinking straight) that she is now considering to borrow from ah long! i strongly warned her against doing so considering how f***ed up things can get with them.....so what else is there? there should be a way for a bank to offer a loan just for her to settle off her debts right? how else will one do, takkan go ask ah long for help when all the time the gov keeps telling us not to do that....this lady is a malay, do you guys know of any islamic loans/banks/ngo that can help her? so i would really appreciate some advise here....ty

ps: she has spoken to akpk and didnt agree to their terms (1 of it was they will hold her passport). she also was told, she might face problems to apply loans with FI after akpk debt is paid off.

CTOS only keep report with Summon or legal action taken against you, if no legal action, no record in their report. This is GOOD.
For bad car instalment payment only capture in CCRIS, but since you had sold the car in Nov'14 and if the settlement to the bank had completed, Now Feb'15, your car loan record in CCRIS should be remove already unless you sold the car but loan not yet settle by buyer, check with your bank to confirm loan settlement and you can print your CCRIS report at BNM for your own checking and monitoring.

In her current situation, since she have record in CTOS means that bank had taken legal action against her due to she did not make payment to the bank/FI for the loan/CC outstanding. under normal circumstances, bank/FI will not grant her loan application due to her bad credit report. checking CCRIS/CTOS/RAM is the bank/FI standard assessment.

Ah Long is not the option, the only option is go to AKPK and agree with their terms and conditions so that the outstanding loan can be pay in instalment over nos of year without further interest incur, otherwise if bank keep charging the interest, she will be sue for bankruptcy and once bankrupt, AKPK will not able to help anymore.

She will be more pain if declare bankrupt, as she unable to get passport going oversea as and when she want to, she cannot hold any property or asset until settle the full amount with insolvency dept. it will be a nightmare if come to this situation.

suffer some freedom or restriction with AKPK terms for some time, but at least she have a chance to pay off the debt by instalment without further interest.

Therefore, I would suggest go for AKPK. GOOD LUCK to your fren

P/S : I took 5 years to clear all my outstanding debt and clear ctos/RAM records, at least I am free now. I can own property now, bank willing to provide me loan now as my CTOS/RAM record all clear.

Aha, so there is 0 - 3 only.

Basically 0 would mean good paymaster, payment is on time.

Anyways, should the payment is always lapsed many months (say, 6months), then the CCRIS records will show 3, 3, 3, right ?

What if on the 7-month, payment resume as normalcy, but is for previous months payment, i.e. not for the current month it is due?

Will it show 0 0 0 or still 3 3 3 ?

Yes. Eligible. Just inform EPF and insolvency department when you want to make a withdrawal.
