BNM shouldn't be open on weekends. Even they do work on Saturdays for half day, this Saturday is public holiday. So, no luck!

As for CTOS, you can do online or through the phone.

My friend told me can be obtained at AKPK Maju Junction on Saturday but I'm skeptical since it's stated open only on weekdays in their website.

BNM is obviously closed on Saturday. Just wondered if there are any other channels to get the CCRIS on Saturday.

I'm not aware that AKPK also can obtain CCRIS report.

Nope. Only commitments to the banks are tracked in CCRIS: Mortgage, HP, CC, PL, ASBLoans... Shares margins, things like that.

Insurance, Gym memberships, telco, astro, etc are NOT tracked in CCRIS. However, if you lambat bayar all these bills, they can be forwarded to CTOS and you will find it difficult to get loans in the future.

Self check usually means you go there to generate a report. Does this mean that you need to pay them RM10 for you to check the CTOS? It's a private entity that collects our information, i disagree with CTOS since they can be so irresponsible to my clients' accounts. I should write a letter to the Star about this.

If your CCRIS got tag "special attention" account , will bank give you auto renewal for credit cards that is already near expiry date - asking on behalf of my friends
*
If I'm not mistaken, the banks do set their internal criteria. Assuming the credit card / other credit facilities repayment record is clean and pass the criteria when the system do the review in batches, the cards will be auto renewed upon expiry. If fail to pass the criteria, then they may reassess the case and cards may not be renewed.

Perhaps some one who have experience in credit card processing can tell.

It depends on the bank to update the BNM or the CCRIS database.

I doubt it takes immediate effect as CCRIS will be update every 10th or every 15th calendar month

Of course it won't take effect immediately. Whatever you printed from the kisok or got from via email is usually 1 month delay.

As for my case on RHB CC, they're not removed from the CCRIS database/report even though I have cancelled it for > 1 year.

As for Citibank, they're pretty efficient.
