They don't need your authorization to access your CCRISS at all?

But these say have to?

My guess, perhaps during the loan application, the applicant already given the consent....by signing on the application form.
Need to check the fine print in the loan application to see if it is stated.

my CTOS score used to be on the excellent range, but due to decimals, HSBC had marked me that I've missed out minimum payment on October 2024 & January 2025. May I know how long does it take for my score to increase? Is it February 2026?

Don't mind me asking, why are you concerned about your score?

I mean, as far as I know, Malaysian's don't need to worry too much about their score, unlike the Americans?

Please share. Thank you

i finished my car loan about a year ago & do not have any current loan
i have a credit card that i seldom use, if any

just wondering will my score goes down if i keep it this way?
will it affect my loan application later?

The CTOS Score is pure bullshit and they prey on gullible idiots. Mine was 500 something but I got a housing loan approved at a preferred rate with no issues from multiple banks (Maybank, RHB, Public and HLB).

The CTOS score penalises too many credit card applications and cancellations, increases in credit limit, high credit card utilization etc.

No bank penalises for such nonsense. None of the major banks even look at CTOS scores anyways. They just look at CCRIS record directly.

As long as you are a good paymaster and have sufficient debt serving capacity (by looking at your DSR), the banks don't give a shit.

Eventhough what you said about CTOS Score is pure bullshit and they prey on gullible idiots, ... you cannot do anything as your application for credits will most probably depends on it for initial determinant of your loan application approval or rejection screening as your credit score is what stands between you and the bank’s decision to approve that loan or credit card that you just applied for.

In Malaysia, there are 4 main sources providing credit scores and reports. The main one being CCRIS, which is managed by the Credit Bureau of Bank Negara. In addition to this, there are other private companies that also provide credit reports, and are licensed under the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010.
These agencies have access to CCRIS, but also provide additional information in their credit reports.
Each has its own method of calculating and reporting so your score will not be the same for all.

Just noticed that Maybank directly put '1' on my CCRIS record due to disputed fraudulent transactions.

My claims was approved for credit reversal.

Total? RM18.

I received several unauthorised transaction notifications from MEA app in mid-Nov 25. I directly called the hotline and blocked the card. The agent informed me that the charges were still floating and advised me to wait for upcoming statement for confirmation.

So, I disputed the transactions on Dec 25 via email after reviewing the monthly statement. Both claims were approved by Maybank within few weeks and the adjustments were reflected in my latest statement.
