Quick question. I have a credit card with ambank that I want to cancel and pay the balance in full in the next week or so. Will the CCRIS record for the credit card be dropped off from my CCRIS record? Will there be any trace of the CC in my CCRIS if it is dropped off?

Bank have their internal cut-off date for CCRIS processing before submitting to BNM, this date varies by bank but mostly on month-end, so it will only be reflected on the 15th of following month in best case scenario.

My only concern, as told by a banker, is that it won't be dropped off at all. I'm assuming you meant April 15 for your best case scenario. I am ok with that as long as it does dropped off. Call to ambank is useless as they can't even answer simple question.

Nonetheless, appreciate your help.

I need some expert advice as I'm in big trouble now. Best if some house loan officer or manger here to advice.

I have a RHB loan restructured in 2011. When restructured, they did not tell me that my record will be going into CTOS (sorry cause that time I really don't know anything bout banking knowledge). In Dec 2014 I found a house and start my purchase process and the Loan application get rejected by HSBC because of the restructured issue. and then agent help me to apply for RHB bank and the bank verbally told me the loan is approved by 85% and offer letter bit delay because some of my CTOS issue. After I settle my CTOS issue, they advice that I can sign my SPA with lawyer and I will get the loan offer letter soon.

I signed SPA on 17 Feb, then RHB officer said they need to review my house loan under new BL again then said my loan is rejected on 26th Feb due to my RHB restructured issue.

So now I'm in big trouble as SPA signed but loan is stuck there. I'm currently try my luck again with Maybank loan. But any expert out there can advice on this? Any bank might have some chance for me to get the house loan?

The new house is RM500k and I have a house loan with Alliance bank now (RM758.00 per mth), which is joined name with my sister and will do the early settle in Apr 2015 (RM110k) as my mother sold her Kuantan house. My current salary is around RM6500.

Try to apply with other banks as well. Some banks prefer to have 1 continuously as they'll earn more on late charges and compound interest. Approval is based on recommendation by branch managers, so maybe you can nego a bit with them.

It is used to request for CCRIS report..

I am wondering on what method of reply would be sent to the requestor. I check but no column to select the method of correspondence..

BNM will reply with ccris report thru email if you submit the form thru email. The report will be in zip file. U need to extract with a password. U need to call bnm for the password. It was stated in the email. This is ensure you are the real applicant. Actually it is very simple
