may i know the difference/purpose of between K&N air filter injection kit and Hotbits injection kit heat-shield? and hotbits doesn't have muffler for savvy or the rear section is actually the muffler? sorry i am noob in car-modifying field

so anyone wanna upgrade?  brows.gif

For my info, air filter is the thing used to filter the air... heat shield is used to make sure cold air enters the engine.
hotbits doesn't have muffler... means it will be jz the pipe (like those savvy lite)...
muffler is the fat fat thing... used to cancel off the sound... <correct me if i'm wrong>

All new Savvy bought in 2008 comes with 5 years warranty? For all Lite, Medium-line and High-line?
Anyone bought their Savvy in this year 2008? Have you got your P&O policy showing that it covers the warranty for 5 years? Mind to share some info? Thanks.
*
I got mine in 08... the warranty card is together with the car manuals?

*
Mine also using mach 5... i asked... and the sc guy said it's semi synthetic, so it's more expensive...

The air filter injection kit is the cone air filter thing. The heat shield is that aluminium thing that keeps the heat of the engine away from the air that is taken in.

Honestly rm280 for the heat shield is a f*cking rip-off. All it is is two normal aluminium sheets cut to fit the inside.

[edit]
No la, hotbits got muffler also. Whole exhaust is basically extractor (the part that attaches to the engine), mid-section (the mid-piping under the car including bullet or cat converter) and the rear-section (muffler).

If you got the R3 muffler you can just buy the extractor+mid section from hotbits as I believe it's made to attach to the R3 muffler.

Tenkiu bro junyen and deodoran, understand it clearly now. but wanna ask something regarding exhaust, if i install the hotbits exhaust system, for sure my pickup will increase but will it affect my topspeed? (means difficult to attain top speed?)
one more thing, my car is amt, installing it wont harm the complicated amt system rite?

why do u say it'll affect your topspeed? i thought it'll be easier to reach your topspeed and even higher topspeed? Due to more horsepower.. and the waste air is exhausted faster?

AMT is just the gear box.. installing these things are related to the engine only... if i'm not mistaken..

Voltage stabilizer is for wat? For the 'Drive by wire'?

what i meant maybe is the 4-2-1 type or 4-1 type of extractor thingy...since 4-2-1 is good for top speed whereas 4-1 is good for accelaration (correct me if i'm wrong)...
dunno whether the hotbits is which type extractor...hmm
and i believe our exhaust piping is straight piping rite (or not?)

i think voltage stabilizer is for stabilizing the flow of volts in electronic component (correct me if i'm wrong)
and i feel it's worth it for me when changing gear becomes smoother since mine is amt...altho it wont eliminate the sound totally but it feels lighter and smooth

Only change manual gearbox oil at 40k km...sealed inside the gearbox w/o exposing to any byproducts of combustion like engine oil - it should last you a very long time or life time..

only concern is the AMT oil ..go for quality orignal renaumatic oil..

Found out by NK - 2006 AMT value is still RM32k..due to fuel hike and it's a fuel saver car.
