does it really need to reached 1000km then only they will service the car?As my fren got experience before,is saga run till 980km then go for the service but the proton service refused to service for it..

i guess depends on the sc la.... i never had any problems when i sent my car for servicing... some are a bit fussy, cannot watch them work etc etc

my car just reached 40k... need to spend a bomb on the 40k service now.. tongue.gif

you buy the plastic bracket to mount the new HU, or ask the shop to custom make a bracket... mine was custom as that time very hard to get the bracket.

@thunder_bolt
yea changed mine to a steel mate 2 way alarm

karat on brakes disc any car also will have if the disc gets wet and u dont drive it for a day or so
karat other places then u gotta be worried la.

@nadiah_g
jerking is quite a common problem, u have to clean the TDC sensor and throttle body. for AMT some say using the R3 muffler also helps with jerking. refer to savoc.net forum for more details.
but i dont get wat u mean by the "tyres roll badly". u mean like no grip?

How much to changed to that alarm? Thanks.

Added on December 13, 2008, 3:03 pmOne question, when you open the doors, will the double signal lights being turned on automatically for around 10 seconds? is this something to do with the alarm? how to disable that?

i got a steel mate 2-way alarm, vibration sensor, autostart etc. very happy with it.
Got it for RM350 online, 100 to install.

@maxking
if door screws and all is pretty weird, go sc and complain la. exhaust the end comin out from the muffler might be rusted on the outside. mine is 2. maybe ur car was lying in a yard for quite long b4 u got it. just try ur luck at any SC la. go and complain.

hi

im thinking buying a savvy.... but used only...hukhuk....

i got a few choices.... but most of them manual.....
but i think AMT more cool beb.....

so............. question:

most of them year 2005..... if i buy AMT will i got more problem than i buy manual??

because, i think auto gear more sensitive and not durable as manual...is it?

correct me if im wrong.....

i just need an advice....... whether AMT or manual...

give yours please taiko...

regards

amt if not maintained properly, or sometimes due to our proton sc's who dont do their job properly has the potential to create more problems.
mt would be a safer bet.
