QUOTE(sprix @ May 29 2009, 11:47 PM) hahaha.. i know maybe it weird or wrong way to do..but i did that to cut fat aorund my abs.. at that time.. my abs kinda flabby and after cutting phase.. im satisfied with the result and now ive to start all over again.. i get something but have to sacrifice something else.. which is my muscle.. What's wrong with starting off by cutting? here is a capture of bicep pose.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « **no chest Before you bulk, it would be best to have bf% below 13. Can you imagine how you would look like if you started bulking at 20% bf? It isn't fixed that you have to bulk then only cut |

So in the end it's the goal which matters la haha. I want a model-like body so maybe that was why I chose to cut first. How's your cutting going bro? |

I will have to repeat this. Cutting and Bulking at the same time is achievable. Search G-Flux by Berardi.

I'm doing clean bulking at the moment. Although I think the progress is slow.

QUOTE(kurtkob78 @ May 30 2009, 11:09 AM) It's possible, even Terry Gallyot told me so BUT it is extremely difficult and it takes years and years of experience and knowing your own body through and through. Which is why beginners and even intermediates shouldn't even think of trying it.QUOTE(Florian @ May 29 2009, 11:37 PM) You said it, now find a solution to it. Lol bro. Some people should take a look at you in real life. You're even more impressive than your progress pics. Even i was impressed. To have trained just a few years naturally with just basic supplements, you've come a long way. If you go for the next H & F meet up, you'll wow a lot of people especially with those arms of yours. I'd say you have definitely great genetics for your biceps. Wow, you started your training by cutting, wise move. People make mistakes in the beginning, it's normal. Front double-bi pose. Arms are growing, slowly but surely.
[attachmentid=994872] Also, been trying to get the lat spread pose right but it always comes out wrong. Either I'm doing it wrongly or I have no lats. |

QUOTE(-Dan @ May 30 2009, 01:34 PM) Front double-bi pose. Arms are growing, slowly but surely. You have similar bicep insertion points like mine. We both have poor bicep genetics. More hammer curls. [attachmentid=994872] Also, been trying to get the lat spread pose right but it always comes out wrong. Either I'm doing it wrongly or I have no lats. Lat spread, learn to rotate your scapulae outwards. QUOTE(darklight79 @ May 30 2009, 02:27 PM) Thanks for the reply...IMO, (my case) it is quite possible to lose bodyfat while simultaneously adding lean mass. It wont be as rapid as a "bulking" phase, but you are hitting 2 birds with one stone. For me, the way I plan to accomplished this is to eat right...I did cardio on my non lifting days and perhaps up the calories slightly on lifting days and continue to cut bodyfat while gaining lean mass (hope so)... |

Wow, thanks, actually my training schedule is all going haywire this semester plus the exhaustion after coming back from Muar for the whole day. Not sure if I can keep training like this next semester. You can. When you first start, the first few days or the first week you'll feel like shit. After that you'll be fine. It takes around 2 weeks to fully get used to the lag period but you'll be fine by then. |

Sometimes before going to the gym I'd take a 10 min nap, but still sometimes I get this throbbing headache half way through my training and have to reduce the weight load. So for prophylaxis I'd pop a T. paracetamol 500mg and go to gym after my preworkout shake + a small cup of coffee from that coffee maker at the ground floor. Also, I'm not getting my 8 hour sleep a night, more like 4-5 hours a night. |
