.. i was doing a great job... bodyfat dropped too.. but i wasn't happy with my amount of muscle mass due to cutting down on bodyfat.... i was on a chocolate diet for lunch and it worked great till a certain point and it was static after tht... so i started gaining back lean muscle by abit by a different approach by doing intensity workouts... more supersets, static supersets, dropsets, compound, some x-rep methods and all kinds of variations and within 3 months i see lots of improvement... back thicken up, bodyfat reduce further... but right now since im on my practical and all the deepavali calories... things have slowed down a lil due to eating lunch outside-- gotta survive rite...anyway this are the pictures and when i pull my abdominal skin and i could see 4 things lurking under the layer of fat!!!

i just joined fitness first and paid upfront 3 months.... and since then i started doing cardio in the gym which i don't really fancy doing it.. always preferred doing cardio outside.. anyway steam room really works!!! it does make some difference!!!

After my weight trainin... i'd go for a 10 minutes steam room... it does makes your skin tighter.... i've never tried sauna..... my friend who's achived a 6 pack in a short period of time told me to do both... but i've also heard tht sauna is kinda bad cause it makes your skin dry and i heard too long in the sauna can cause hair loss too... im not tht sure bout tht.... i guess steam room is better.. sauna works best after an half an hour cardio.... burns the hard baby fats!!!
*
k thanks kanishen.
if it really helps to burn off the baby fats then i'm going for sure haha!!
i dun look fat but when i take off my shirt, my lemak at the side of my waist is a big turn off.
how to get rid if it? i heard that jogging helps reduce the waist line. smile.gif

i try to eat about 4 to 5 times daily (bout 600 calories per meal) but most of the time i just cant do it due to classes. sometimes i only eat twice a day (big meals) and i feel that i put on more weight that way. haha..

i'm currently trying to reduce my body fat and gain more muscle.

are there any protein drinks available other than the expensive ones which cost bout 200++ and above?
i'm looking for light instant protein drinks which come in sachets of 30 and cost about RM 50.
the protein content does not need to be super high like the expensive protein shakes.
any recommendations?

Then blender is the way to go. Fast, effective and cheap. There are few recipes for blending that reach in total 1k cal in just 1 make, it works for me. Took 3 times daily, 3-5tb PB/2tbHoney/2scoop on Whey/1cup Oat/Cold water. Really depends, sometimes when I need more protein just add more scoop and half cup of oat. Could even add raw eggs into the blender, at night I add a cup of milk instead of cold water for the cassein effect. It's up to you really, find which suit your body the best.

thanks.
which would be the cheapest?
can u pls list out the stuff which i need to buy?
i'm okay with oats.
i'm trying to limit my spending so i would prefer a low-cost protein drink haha.. tongue.gif

Added on November 14, 2008, 8:31 pmoh ya guys, one more thing.
i really like indian rice (nasi kandar with curry mutton or chicken)
sometimes i take it twice a day.
how will it affect my working out?
i'm currently trying to lower my fat percentage and increase muscle mass.

will a plate of nasi kandar a day really be a huge setback?
or is it just normal?
thanks thanks.

How did you measure that?
*
they have this machine at fitness centres which is able to do a detailed body test on your fat percentage and so on.
those on trial can use that machine as well haha

the 'fitness concept' body fat % measuring machine accurate or not ?
*
i'm not sure about the one at fitness concept but the instructor at true fitness said that the accuracy of the machine there (TF) is 90+ percent so it should be very close to the exact figure smile.gif

guys, i need some advice pls.

this concerns my waistline.
i'm 183 cm, 77.6 kg and my waistline is 32 inches.

i have a weird body figure. the side of my waist has an unusual amount of fat accumulated on it.
so far, my cardio has only managed to reduce my tummy but the fat jutting out from the side of my waist has not gone down.

what exercises should i do?
pls help me. i'll post a pic soon.

thanks!

oh my eating is not too bad la.
i've stopped junk food, fast food and canned drinks.
i've even stopped nasi kandar haha

last time, i used to put on a slimming belt when i sleep every night.
could it be that the belt pressed too hard on my waist and caused the fat at the side of my waist to jut out permanently?

here are the pics.

wanna burn fat effectively is to do fasted cardio!!! before breakfast and do not overdo it!!! wanna see six packs... build your abdominal muscles first with intensity too... abs is just another form of muscle just like your biceps!!!
*
fasted cardio?
ok ok do u think that 10 min of HIIT is better for fat-burning rather than 30 min of normal jogs?

i think build muscle in your abdomen, then your waist wont be so obvios

i'm trying very hard too but this waist-shape has been with me ever since i was in form1 or maybe even younger.
i'm just afraid that this is permanent.
