wonder how come since i put the garmin into my memory card..everytime i take it out and put it in..it always say Installing..lolz..and then come out unable to finish installation from memory card..help~

Problem:
(1) You need to know which folder Panoman is using
\private\ ?
\system\ ?
C:\ ?
E:\ ?

(2) Yes, there are a lot of caches. That's why it is easier, better and cleaner to format than delete/uninstall one by one.

Might as well find Panoman installer from Nokia, I think it is around somewhere, I didn't search for it.

You need to get it right, either install it manually from phone (use default File Manager or FExplorer/YBrowser/etc.) to run the installer. Once installed successfully once, it won't pop-out "Installing..." whenever you pull out and push in the micro-SD or USB cable.

I used ur way..it still pops out whenever i re-insert the memory card..T_T!

i installed successfully once, but everytime i put in the memory card it says 'garmin detected, open? yes/no' which is quite annoying also...
anyway to fix this?

Anyone using Fexplorer 1.18 Beta version? Do you having difficulties on installing it? I have signed the application myself same as other unsigned application but this software said cert error.

Try delete:
[Memory Card] E:\Garmin\Apps\Symbian\RES\GarminMobileXT.SIS
*edit: Better move the file to your PC or another folder. If it raise error, you can restore it.

I'm using the latest 1.18b which is actually 1.21b expiring in Sep 2008. No problem with it.
1) Ensure you download the S60v3 beta version. Not the S60 version
2) Make sure you use the right .cer and .key generated. Has your cert expired ?

Wow, I've been having the same problem as iori57. Garmin always want to autostart itself whenever I pull the usb cable from my phone after using the File Transfer Mode. Removing the sis file from the memory card seems to fix the problem now. Thank you!!

i also deleted that file but still Garmin will autoload promting if we want to execute GarminXt program =.="

nope... can support up to 8gb...

Current limit is 8GB
Maximum limit is 32GB (16GB micro-SD should be coming out end of this year)

Sound quality not as good as N81.
Most ppl claim N82 is softer than N95/n95 8GB.

n82 put 8GB run smoothly? or will it lag?

"more more less less" ... you will feel lag a bit or a lot... depends on individual.

Hey guys, My new phoneset (N82 lah) battery goes down to 2 bars and slightly more than half day..is it normal ah?.. just playing music, some bluetooth file transfers and a couple of short phone calls. I'm surprised its like eating battery like no tomorrow?. Should I claim battery warranty ah?. I've not come across this problem with other phones..half day down to 2 bars after charging whole night..Unbelievable lah!.

If yours is original phone (not AP) then you can try claim battery warranty. My friend did once and got a new battery.

Are you using those magnetic flip-pouch ?
Or did you place the phone near electro-magnetic stuff ?
Do you have a lot of TSR installed and running ? e.g. task manager, screensaver, etc.

Based on your brief description above, it should last 2 days.

My battery can last me whole day, with heavy wifi surfing and sms... keke lectures are boring and thanks to the institute for providing wifi to take away the boredom.

I don't see any technical reason why electro magnetics can affect battery power. Must be something wrong thats eating battery. There's NO tsr's or screen saver, purely in standard mode..I'm not a application intesive user...just casual., no games either. Hmmm..baffling!
