i tested something regarding N82 gps using GarminXT, when in my car, i activate garmin navigation, after 10seconds N95 8GB had detected the signal, but the N82 only detects after 1min. In some forum they claim N82 gps signal is much better than N95 8GB but i don't really think so for what i've experienced today.

And lastly the most annoying part is, after 3 hours journey with Garmin navigator, N82 shuts off due to baterry low. where else the N95 8GB still have 3 bars.

Both are AGPS enabled?

Both using integrated GPS, btw normally we set positioning method to integrated GPS only, the rest we don;t select (tick)
Not sure about AGPS function though, does it charge us? will it drain battery faster?
Btw, previously i mention about RealPlayer recent files list problem, yet nobody still can give an answer.. the questions is how
do we clear / delete the recent viewed list of RealPlayer
*
Yea AGPS are charged by network provider. If u are using AGPS, satellite lock time will become20-40sec smile.gifI dunno about battery thingy.

gmapsupp.img is a malsingmap already. What verion of MSM you are using? Check inside your Garmin Software under Setting. Only latest map of MSM which is v2.27 can use adresses toolbar.

You have to use Nemesis Service Suite (NSS) in order to change your product code.

Thanks for the info.

Any detail in doing this?

Refer the step by step guidance here on how to change your product code. Except you have to follow your N82 product code on the 1st page. Other steps are remain the same.

I wonder why scanning at the Phone Info doesn't work. The status showed that Scan for product... Error!

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Is the information above should we expect?
*
Actually it should be no problem. I don't have any experience when Error message appear but I do read some website said that you need to reinstall your firmware in case Error msg appear.
