From the past few replies, I noticed you guys don't use the graphics driver supplied by Dell and instead use the 1 from automatic updates. Do any of u guys face HDMI problems?

i totally agree with n20nine... given me a choice now, I would not have opt for a dell anymore as the market is flooded with a lot of other 13 inch laptop already..

the engineer had to come like 6 times just to get the cosmetic image of the laptop fix and till today there is some parts are still ugly and defective..

my hdd is still vibrating so strong.. i cant do anything... i have my hdd changed 4 times... all of the 4 hdd vibrates when i touch it on the palmrest.. but the 1st hdd did not vibrate at all though... i went and tocuh the xps at the show room.. did not vibrate at all.....

I would opt for the HP now... the new 13 inch one though thicker and heavier

*Sigh...

M1330 is also plague with problems.

Why Dell laptops suck so much?

I own a M1530 and i have changed 2 HDD,1 mobo,palm rest,plastic hinge,center panel in 6 months.

Im buying Asus next time.Dont care if it cost me 6k.At least their hardware are much higher quality than Dell.My ancient P4 mobo still work even got struck by lightning.

The 3.5k version only comes with an integerated graphic card which I think it is a waste for such a beautiful system. You'll be better off with the GeForce 8400M GS at just above 4k.

I'm agreed with you. I used the 8400M GS and quite happy with the performances. You can see in youtube for the sample.. quite nice even can play COD 4 and Crysis (low setting) tongue.gif

Your temperature is when it is idling ? If so then it is bad but if you are running some graphics intensive application then it is pretty good.
