I received mine today, I ordered last Sunday so it is about 6 days since the order will only be processed on a working day. Also, mine was probably fast because there is a Skynet branch nearby my house. There are 2 XPS laptops in my house and both were delivered the same time 9am which I assume is the first delivery of the day. biggrin.gif

wow good for you.. i thought the dell call centre only opens on monday till saturday.. you bought it via online? can share with me ur specs?
so how ur xps? got any problems? for example the famous chi chi chi sound...

Just to make sure a couple of things before i order a new laptop:

1. How to service my laptop if any problem occurs? Is there any Dell service center in Melaka?

2. Does M1330 reflect heavily? I like the outlook of XPS more than Vostro 1310 but M1330 is only offering glossy display...
*
for your first question.. if you have any problems with dell products, you just need to call them.. they will come to your house ASAP smile.gif

Currently thinking of purchasing this model though a bit late but really interested. rolleyes.gif

Just need some views on this model since it's already been 1 year or so since it came out in Malaysia from the people who anticipate and very excited early buyers of this model or others.

How is it now guys?the overall reviews?  icon_question.gif

So far from my observation, m1330 is quite nice and a good laptop to buy.. I have no problem with yet.. As for the heat problem.. I solve it by using a notebook cooler.. Lesser heat produce smile.gif For me, 1530 is bulky and hard to carry around the campus smile.gif

i just bought an AVF bag from Midvalley.. and it's quite nice and light to bring along my xps all around the campus tongue.gif

The 3.5k version only comes with an integerated graphic card which I think it is a waste for such a beautiful system. You'll be better off with the GeForce 8400M GS at just above 4k.
*
I'm agreed with you. I used the 8400M GS and quite happy with the performances. You can see in youtube for the sample.. quite nice even can play COD 4 and Crysis (low setting) tongue.gif
