What happens to Air Asia is their plane runs from lets say 6 to 12 midnight, so the period between 12 midnight to 6 o'clock morning they're parked in the LCCT, maintenance and checks are being run through this period. So eventually if the aircraft delays during its day flight, it will not be felt by the morning flights as there is quite a long hour buffer between those two periods.
Air Asia X on the other hand i think they run non stop, due to their long haul nature, only an hour and a half turnaround time, but should be on time lah, unless the plane rosak again like on the first day the plane went to Perth
