lol
thx XD

PS: Aichiban, you are either a BIGGER idiot
or someone working WITH airasia sleep.gif.

Did you not read my comment stating that there are no earlier flight on that day!
and that the earliest will be 2 days from then on?
Are you just blind or playing a fool?
(Or both maybe)

3 hours is seriously OK for transiting a flight
WITHIN the ASEAN region!

So don't start bombarding my thread calling people idiot!
You want to share your opinion on this, that's fine,
but no need for foul language!

Not with Air Asia... you pay what you get lah honestly TS...

Air Asia is an LCC, and i've said this many times before, you pay what you get. You pay peanuts don't expect perks akin to a legacy carrier(MAS).

It is clearly stated that they will not be responsible for any missed connections. I always keep a 12 hour buffer, or a night buffer. Reach LCCT at night, take of next morning. But if you say the timing is not suitable then i have nothing to say.

Just accept the fact that you can't do anything pertaining to this, your baggage thingy however is debatable.

Hope you learnt your lesson.

I suggest you to fly MAS. Air Asia is a low cost carrier, there are stringent principles and limitations to their business and this is how they pass on their cheap fares to us. I'm certainly thankful as i'm not a rich person, i can travel to more places at a cheaper price..

Delays happens for a reason, i'm sure they did not want delays to happen, often those are related to safety issues, weather, technical problems with the aircraft. Do you want to depart on time on a plane that has technical problems? NO i'm sure. These stuff are common in the airline industry, it happens to every airline be it AK, be it MAS, BA, etc. It is just that it is obvious with Air Asia because of their short turnaround time, some other legacy airlines have a longer turnaround time, maybe an hour between flights so delays are not so obvious.

My final say is that regarding your missed connection, you have no one else to blame but you. The others you can try. Once again i stress Air Asia is a point to point airline, be careful when planning your itinary.

Good luck on your conquest !

9M-XAA (2-4-2 seating) is an ex Sabena aircraft, leased.
9M-XXA (3-3-3 seating) is AirAsia's owned plane. Another one will be arriving soon, 9M-XXB and when it arrives, 9M-XAA will undergo a cabin reconfiguration to the 3-3-3 config. Similar to their new planes.

If i'm not mistaken the 2-4-2 seating cannot recline one, the 3-3-3 config features an itelligent shell design, so when you recline your seat actually pushes forward so the back of your seat does not actually move down to disturb the guy behind of you.

Of course you get what you pay mahhh... imagine 14 hours to London!

Really feel sorry for you. Airasia handle hundred of flight per day, so as MAS. What makes AA different than MAS is their stop time at airport is so short, that it left no contigency for any delay.

If you want to arrive on time, get the morning flight. Evening flight is usually plague with delay, especially during the eve of any public holiday.

Flying was consider as luxury before AA come into action. I used to travel via AA when I was a student. I had my share of bad experience too. Then again, they really make flying possible for everyone.

Anyway, my family and friends still fly with airasia. We do complain once every while. Well, they are simply cheaper than MAS.

FYI, for those who frequently travel from west to east Msia, did you know that MAS tax surcharge is as high as RM180/trip? With AA, we can get a ticket already, plus surcharge.

Still, I do agree, 3 hours is enough for transit within this region. At least, with MAS there was never such issue.

Emm..i think they lost a million ringgit this year la..

Anyway, poor TS. As far as i know, AA always delay. And since you said that there's no flight to Sibu after 2 days, I think they cant blame you for this. What I really hate about it is when they tried to blame you for such a stupid reason and your lost baggage. Well, hopefully you already get it. One day i have to try AA la.

By da way, when i was in UK, I always using low cost airlines but they are very punctual and the booking through internet is far more easier than AA. Check in counter is perfect. No hassle at all and the service by the crew and ground crew is flawless. But as many people said, is it what Malaysian attitude "Tak APA" ? I think AA should see EasyJet, and other's low cost carrier in UK as an example. cool.gif

haha

air asia X not applicable. i think.

What happens to Air Asia is their plane runs from lets say 6 to 12 midnight, so the period between 12 midnight to 6 o'clock morning they're parked in the LCCT, maintenance and checks are being run through this period. So eventually if the aircraft delays during its day flight, it will not be felt by the morning flights as there is quite a long hour buffer between those two periods.

Air Asia X on the other hand i think they run non stop, due to their long haul nature, only an hour and a half turnaround time, but should be on time lah, unless the plane rosak again like on the first day the plane went to Perth
