QUOTE(sangels @ Feb 20 2008, 02:05 AM) I lost my Shasha today when I came back from gathering. I don't know how she can escape or missing, but I really sad when I can't find her in the tank. I miss her so much and really hope for miracle that she will come back to us. Or else I really hope someone who can take good care of her. Will miss you - Shasha..... My girl... Anyway I think there's still some hope to get her back as long as your apartment dont have slight space to let her squeeze away from the apartment, try to do focus searching room by room, after fin searching one room then just close the door tight and that will tighten your range Last time my girl squeeze into the cabinet role, and I spent nearly 2 hours to lure her out and catch her |

My hammies still not eating food
Already removed the treats stick as per Reanne's suggestion, and I noticed this morning that the mineral salt had a small chunk chewed off. So I removed that as well, leaving only basic staple food and water. Don't see any difference They can't be that fussy over what sort of food is given to them, right? |

Maybe you should change the brand of food. What are you feeding them now?
Robos don't really bloat like a pear, but you can see the bulge. |

Don't lose hope. I've lost two dwarfs before this. One week later one turned up outside her cage, sleeping soundly (probably starving as...) the second was found sleeping in a kitchen cupboard!

QUOTE(Reanne @ Feb 20 2008, 06:30 PM) Living World/Habitrail Staple.QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Feb 20 2008, 08:48 PM) What staple are you using? Sometimes it could be the food..... maybe stale, not enough variety, plain boring.... as you have been feeding treats to them, they have lost the taste for their normal staple food. As above. I won't say there's no variety or its boring. It's got quite a bit of variety in there. I mean, I never had any feeding problems with my 2 Syrians. I fed them plain pellets + kuaci and they were happy enough with those. As for my 2 WWs, I only gave them the treats recently. Even before the treats their eating habits were already worrying me. They ate soooooooooooooo sparingly. Sure, they're small, but... even when my Syrians were that size they were gluttons already. So that got me worried. At least seeing them bite and snack on the treats made me feel a little less worried, but I cannot be feeding them treats forever. QUOTE(sqwerk2 @ Feb 20 2008, 10:53 PM) Will try that only as a last resort... I hate buying bread as I usually can't finish the whole pack alone. |
