i'm thinking, will it help if i renovate the original cage into two bungalows. hehe, sort of like KLCC got bridge right in the middle. 1 each, dunno will it make them cross to each other's territory and fight like mad again.

you should separate them coz syrians are solitary..

the running wheel u can stick put on a layer of cardboard to cover up all the bar hole..it might hurt ur hamsters leg once it got stuck in between by accident

agree with NewbieBetta.. better cover the gaps with cardboard or just buy a solid wheel.. or else if ur syrians run very fast n one leg got stuck, i cant imagine wat will happen to the leg..

ps/ is tat a tupperware on the second floor? i'm thinking of separating my cage too but dunno how..

one my hamsters, makes me feel like he's a rambo. everyday he's biting the cage hoping to runaway. he will survey the whole cage and try to climb areas finding for a perfect spot to get away and hes like running the wheel all the time. build stamina

don't force them. for me i put, they'll come.

takes a while la. you just take time to get to know them and them to know you.

ppl.. my 2 female rc keep biting the cage.. i bot mineral stone and apple wood oso they stil bite the cage la...... how to solve this problem..

Now I'm going along with Syrian fever.... 16 Syrians..... crazy loh..... but I like. Out of 16, only 4 are banded colours. The rest all solid solid.  Now my aim is to find more solid coloured syrians.

Wonder which pet shop you are telling, but I can be sure that the seller is trying to bluff you. Everytime when I do hamster hunting or pet shops visiting, definitely they have males and females in almost the same amount of them, maybe in a different ratio but it's not difficult at all to get male Syrian. I already have 2 at home. Going to expand the family tomorrow, just dunno I'll get a male or female, but doesn't matter since they are living separately.
