2 feet tank i think still can be reach by a Syrian. I used to have one dwarf hamster, a WW i think. the woman is a rambo man, every morning would climb up the box, plus the lid, plus minus about 2 feet plus. jump down from the cabinet, that alone already 4 feet always run to the fridge.

QUOTE(jayniel @ Feb 20 2008, 03:35 PM) yeap, standard height of table is normally 4 feet. my cabinet is the same height as that. she practically did tht for a straight whole week before we change their home. amazing that she didn't died of broken bone, but died during giving birth. her mate, died of heart broken. |

QUOTE(djspinnet @ Feb 20 2008, 06:05 PM) My hammies still not eating food try a bit, juz a bit of gardenia bread. i remember the ones i had last time always crave for more.Already removed the treats stick as per Reanne's suggestion, and I noticed this morning that the mineral salt had a small chunk chewed off. So I removed that as well, leaving only basic staple food and water. Don't see any difference They can't be that fussy over what sort of food is given to them, right? |

QUOTE(Voxe @ Feb 24 2008, 01:02 AM) I feel real sad whenever I think of my hamster's lifespan. They only will live up to 3 years only and I hope the day never comes to see them dead in the cage. Anyone here experience death of a hamster through old age? last time, i've never had one that died of old age. i've used to rare 4, 1 died while giving birth, 1 died of sickness. well, when those 2 died (they're females), the other 2 died of broken heart. |

QUOTE(anbusan @ Feb 26 2008, 10:31 AM) same with me la hehe every night and morning both of them will biting the cage try to escape from cage. But it was really fun to get to see all of them like that. mine other one is totally opposite, more like a sloth. so slow in doing everything, except eating. when its time for me to put fresh new food in the bowl, the fella can run to the bowl even faster than a car kena chase by police. |

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Apr 15 2008, 09:18 PM) Harry Hamster has more pellets, less fruit. I mix HH and Prestige, which is ideal. The price is about the same. Weight has change from 1kg to 850g now. ouch, need to buy another tank juz for that. the crittertrail is ok, but the delikate one does not have holes to put any conenctions. It's Pet Family and they only sell Sluis, Kaytee, Hagen, Habitrail and Delikate.... Delikate is their house brand. Prestige can only be found at Pet Safari, Pet Shack and Petsmore. Only certain small petshops that carry high end products would have Prestige. No more 1kg. The website outdated. You can only buy new cages. That's why it is a waste of money to buy cages coz sometimes you would want your hamster to have bigger space. You can only add on connections and another cage, you cannot add the tiers. Critter Trail Mini is suited for short term living and also as a carrier coz of the small space. Remember.... Pet Safari also PS hahahah.... |
