QUOTE(Core_Trace(R) @ Jan 23 2008, 12:18 PM) its ok if poo bcoz its in solid state......but pee is in liquid.... I've been peed and pooed by a sugar glider at the petshop, hahha. None of my babies peed or pooed on me before... (phew).so far three people had been the victims including me,haha maybe i need to let her grow a little more? But I read somewhere sometimes they peed cos they are scared... ? Hmm... if she peed on you cos she's scared, no point waiting her to grow bit more... you should continue handling her and get her used to that idea |

FrostFox,
If you think hiding from this thread you can get away from it? Then you are wrong, what others and I here need just the facts of your pets. Not just the wrong story you accidently said. And I'll say again, I will remove the banner when you come in here to tell/explain to us the facts. Not stories. I can see that you are active in other threads in LY.net. It's not hard to track you. If I want, I can go to each threads that you have posted and post there and everyone will see the banner but I'm not that kind of person. Your friendster & your email was the easiest. You know why? Because it is in your blog!!! Please grow up and be mature about this. Hiding is not going to help with anything. PMs from FrostFox which I have cc to some friends when I replied to him. ![]() This post has been edited by blurjoey: Jan 23 2008, 05:37 PM |

BTW,im enjoying ur determination/work in 'teaching' him,lol I'm not teaching him anything. Just want him to learn himself and tell people the facts. Anyway say hi to FrostFox, he is reading but he is scared to post here. Hey FrostFox! There is nothing to be afraid here if you are just telling the truth. I'm not going to come and bite you. Maybe Fumoffu will bite. This post has been edited by blurjoey: Jan 23 2008, 05:39 PM |

Wah, he is horrible... how can he not know the species of his hamster? Each hamster has slightly different necessities, so how do you provide the best care without knowing its species?? Poor Sinclair.... She is so pretty! =.=" I feel angered when he called her "thingy". Proves he doesn't think of her more than a thing? Poor poor Sinclair...
Robos live for four years?? Some sites tell me they live an average of 2.5 years? My oldest one only lived up to a lil past 3 years... And I thought that was some record. He passed away last month. This is his picture before he passed away. This post has been edited by Jamien: Jan 23 2008, 06:39 PM Attached image(s) |

Reanne, just wondering, in normal cinnamon banded syrian, is there other colour genes? such cream, black, sable or umbro? just curious.. and is there possibility from banded syrian to produce solid colour syrian?

The cinnamon gene is a set of recessive genes. It is possible that the hamster may carry other recessive genes. Yes, you can breed it out, you will need a solid partner. By doing that you can find out if your cinnamon banded's banded gene is het or homo. Is the banded gene is dominant, you will not know whether it is homozygous or heterozygous, unless you see the parents and it's siblings.

my hamster just passed away this morning.... tumour growth... I tried what I can already, keep bringing him to see vet, feed him various foods when he's so weak until cannot bite seeds, still love him as he is although the growth caused his right eye to pop out from the socket...
he died in the vet clinic while doc was trying to remove his growth... he's only been with me for 9 months.... I miss him... I hope he's happy in heaven now... at least he no longer suffers now... |
