QUOTE(NewbieBetta @ Jan 25 2008, 12:41 AM) QUOTE(erikachen @ Jan 25 2008, 01:21 AM) Well its just a stall that sell pets. Last few times I was there, it was near the Curve's main entrance on the right-hand side. If not, then I don't know where it moved to.Added on January 25, 2008, 9:54 am QUOTE(jtl @ Jan 25 2008, 12:32 AM) Hm... That time we were there, they were selling WW or RC, GP, SG, turtles, scorpions, tanks (mostly kuaci), pet food, and bedding. I think there were hedgehogs also. This post has been edited by blurjoey: Jan 25 2008, 09:59 AM |

Question : my hammy gave birth. (yay!) but the babies are spread all over the tank. one in the tube. another near water bottle. another at another corner. spotted 3 so far, unknown total number. *yes yes, i look at the babies within less than 24 hrs.*
so is this baby relocation business normal for hammies? |

I read if you find the babies all over, take a spoon, rub it in the bedding so that the spoon imitate the surrounding smell, scoop the babies and put back in the nest. DO NOT touch the babies with your hands, it will get eaten by the mom when she didn't recognised them anymore. I hope you do this fast, cos they can get cold easily and die Good luck with the babies. Added on January 25, 2008, 6:06 pm QUOTE(jtl @ Jan 25 2008, 01:13 PM) They are usually at the rows infront of cineleisure. If not on the right side, on the left side. It's just a stall... and they have syrians and dwarfs for sale usually. I've only seen once they sell suggies and scorpions. Most of the times only the hamsters. They also have beddings and food available. But not a lot of choice, food is the own mix variety... and the beddings are the pine bedding. This post has been edited by missgeek: Jan 25 2008, 06:06 PM |

Yes just leave it to mummy. When she's ready she'll go all over the place looking and picking up her babies and putting it back to the nest. That's what mine does anyway.

I just use a cloth to cover the cage. No distraction from outside world. But sometimes I noticed my mommy hamster like to step over the babies.
