It's possible I didn't swipe >RM300 within the first 2 months of my undertaking of the credit card; will need to double check but it's alright since I don't need/want the watch plus I've intentions of cancelling the card.

The bank didn't call for verification; perhaps because I'm an existing customer *shrugs* And Yes the credit limit I obtained this time round was v much higher than the one which was previously issued.

yeah....not only FD...I used to pay the payment promptly and use their online facilities lots.

mayb what he mean is accumulated total credit card limits is 40K.

U could always verify through UOB's website; I'm sure it'll be posted on their website should they have such promotions/contest. Well, I hold a UOB credit card but I haven't received such SMSes. I'll check with sis if she received any when I see her later.

uob got auto upgrade from gold to plat or classic to gold like citibank or hong leong? my friend eon bank also got auto upgrade gold to plat.

Not that I know of! I doubt so there's such thing as an auto upgrade as anyone would have to earn that upgrade although it's a mere classic to gold upgrade. More likely if it were a gold to plat upgrade .... you'll really need to earn it !

Yes UOB does upgrading too like the rest of the other banks. I was upgraded to the next tier about a year and a half ago.

so uob classic plat not so high class also?I see requirement is 96k. How about alliance bank?they need 120k! or they will auto upgrade like other bank also?

I've absolutely no idea what the criterias are since I didn't put in a new application for the card. Also, does it really matter what kind of card (Classic, Gold or Platinum card) ur holding?
