I am not against sharing of experiences of personal nature. You can quote but do it correctly.

However, this involves BigPay and without verifiable info, anyone can claim anything. More so as this involve a financial institution where credibility is of utmost priority.

With regards to @jack2 statement, I believe readers are mature enough to detect rubbish statements and believe it directly. If anyone disregard accountability (even to extent humouring it) as a virtue then it is a shame and reflects upon that individual's integrity.

Hmm.. for sure, there won’t be any official announcement for that until someone like me experience the missing transaction n check with them via the unofficial way, ie fb messenger..

you did nothing wrong. it came from cs afterall. issues with other credit cards that we communicate with bank cs also shared but no issue. don't know why this is deemed unofficial but other credit card cs is official.

Just to share my personal experience with activating my BigPay card for those having trouble.

I received my card just a few days after application. However, once I tried to activate, the app kept telling me that my CVC was wrong and I was just stuck on the "card delivered" page.

I called CS several times, and they said that my card was already successfully activated in their system (at the same time that I entered in my CVC).

Their instructions were to a) log out/log in, b) restart phone, c) uninstall/ install app. In the meantime, they said they would also look into whether there were any technical problems at their end.

After a week of no resolution and several calls, I told them that I had done all their steps (a) to © several times every day to no avail and I wanted someone to seriously look into my issue and call me back on a daily basis to update me on what THEY were doing.

The next day (without me doing anything), my card was suddenly activated. And someone called me a few hours later to check if everything was OK.

Although I was quite frustrated, it was eventually sorted out.

For anyone who is facing problems with activation similar to mine, perhaps you can do all the steps (a) to © above BEFORE calling CS. Then tell them that you have already done everything, and that you would like them to check whether there is an error at THEIR end. Otherwise, they will probably assume the problem lies with you, which delays the entire process.

perhaps when you all activate the card, get a stable internet connection rather than using mobile data...
yes, reset everything and try login again with your phone number, they will retract back the information and if doesn't, need to call the CS.

I tried to perform initial topup RM20 with my Citibank Cashback Visa however, it always brought me back to CVV page after I enter the SMS OTP.

Is Citibank block their cashback visa on BigPay merchant?

if i remember correctly, after you have made the initial RM20 top up, it will direct to the page printing the card and wait for the shipment of your card.
after you receive the card then only press the button at the bottom of the page, don't simply press it without the card or else might face error like what most of the forum here got after getting the card, they might have a timer there to enter the CVC for the physical card.

I think I better stop trying. Could be BigPay merchant issue...

Citibank cash back, I was brought back to CVV page after enter OTP.

I then swap it with HSBC Signature... Got OTP, entered and received SMS that RM20 has been charged however, BigPay prompt transaction failed and ask me to topup again... Damn...

Not sure if any of the transaction went through... 6 tries Citibank 1 try HSBC...

Using Unifi at home so connection stability shouldn't be an issue.

Update - great... Now Citibank statement shows its pending!

My bro finally received the card today and trying to activate.. after key in cvv, shown incorrect then the status shown printing card, he restart his phone still same, then logout n login, it back to activate card status.. key in the cvv again, the app shown loading n stuck there..

BigPay CS not working today, seem like need to wait Monday d..

I just perform a transaction through UOBPAYONLINE, the amt has yet to be credited from my account, so usually its like this?

How long does it takes to reflect?

I encounter the same issue with u using Citibank, just wait for 5-10 min later, the transaction will be reflected into your Big Pay.

There is a time lag for Citibank made transfer ><

The problem is I'm toping up for the first time. I can't see the transaction at all because I'm still stuck at "top up RM20 to get your card"

Will have to engage BigPay CS on Monday...

Same here. I managed to call CS. They acknowledged they're having problems and was asked to try again after 24 hours.

just for sharing, initially i also couldnt top up my BigPay card as system shown my CCV is incorrect. after 2-3days, i tried again and the ccv been accepted and procees.

Seem like their system yet get stable and lot of bugs.
