I enjoy this bigpay for its oversea transactions (exchange rate) and able to top up with cc.
Didnt utilitse the loophole as i dont want to take the risk of getting banned tongue.gif
Haven't tried to withdraw from overseas atm, heard the individual bank might charge processing fees although bigpay didnt
*
rclxms.gif I hardly use my others CC when oversea now.... bigpay almost same as live rate. while other CC +1.5 to 2% fee
and I also don't go to money changer now... spare myself some cash notes....then withdraw local currency via ATM

Wanna withdraw more before RM fall again...... sweat.gif

QUOTE(fairylord @ Jun 14 2018, 09:27 AM)
Ya, some oversea bank may charge at their end.
TS Request : Kindly furnish details of any extra charges if you happen to withdraw from Oversea ATM. Will compile and add to post #01.
*
My previous withdrawal with HSBC [SG] don't have such extra charges from the bank. just RM10 from bigpay.

See what they answer... Still didn't give us a guideline... Anyway for those who got suspended, you can always contact their support to unblock the card if valid reason given.
What my suggestion is if really we got use it to buy something, especially for my case is groceries, i don't think they will suspend the card if the withdrawal is only 2-3 times per month.
I think they will only suspend those who withdraw too much in a huge amount and didn't use their card to pay something at all

Found the above image of someone withdraw at Thai and get charged by local bank.

To those running short of foreign currency while abroad, instead of ATM withdrawal, can consider paying expenses using BigPay wherever possible, especially if in a group, then collect cash from your peers. This may also eliminate the potential extra bank charges for ATM withdrawal from abroad.

It is a prepaid card. You need to load money into the card to use it. So, not like a normal credit card.

That’s precisely what I suspect too. That those people who got their BigPay blocked or suspended were due to too many ATM cash withdrawals but not many retail purchases using BigPay.

dont worry as long as payment gateway accept credit card and debit card, no problem to use bigpay prepaid card to make payment
except some physical terminal which doesn't recognize bigpay yet

most likely is the ATM can't dispense RM100 notes. Therefore you can only withdraw up to RM1500 (30 X RM50)

try look for ATM or ATM+CDM that can dispense RM100 notes

I suggest that we start to collect info regarding which overseas banks do not have extra charges for ATM cash withdrawal using BIGPAY.
*
Me tested on BOC & ICBC ATM in Beijing, no additional charge from these banks. Just only RM10.00 charged by BigPay.

Btw, maximum withdrawal from the said banks are CNY3,000 per transaction.
