yeah car rental always requires credit card, not debit or prepaid card for deposit. I think they charge quite a large amount for the deposit, and reverse the transaction after returning the car

it seems like i just need to carry big pay card & Amex will do.

all the CC can put inside drawer as top up purpose already.

The only way to activate your BigPay card is through Apps.

But be careful that some retail merchant not accept Bigpay. Not sure why.

Please name those merchants and not provide statements like such which are in ambiguity. There is no reason for merchants to reject cards which carry MC & Visa logo unless they are rejected by their terminals.

I saw some reported which merchant cannot process the transaction thru their terminal. The card can't go through. I saw others reported on this thread only. So I just saying what I saw. Maybe need to ask TS check back the thread replied by others forumers.

Suggest member attempt to try again and report back, as they might become applicable after awhile as we hope bigpay staff who monitoring here and there would have started taking action for improvement.

Just thought of a "new" usage of the card - top up using cc to waive annual fee for those cards requires 12x swipes/year
