i was actually refering to those who are full time students with marginal pass. normally these students just practice the past year question and as you analyse all the papers, the examiners will repeat the questions eventually. they do not understand the needs in the practical world. i feel the full time students need internship programmes for them to be exposed to the practical world. studying acca from textbooks will not be sufficient.
actually v dun reli hv time 2 study d syllabus in depth...given 5 months' time for 3-4 subj....v r not like degree holders hu r given sufficient time 2 cover each syllabus....
practising past year questions n understanding d examiners' style is d best way 2 pass our exams....
moreover, d reference books (not textbuks) r darn expensive....
"normally these students just practice the past year question and as you analyse all the papers"....
tis is considered as "study smart"...
n in ACCA, hardly examiners wil repeat d same old question again...
but v nida understand d examiners' style....n answering technique...
if not, wat u hv studied wun get u any marks...
"need internship programmes"....
tats y once v fnsh ACCA, v r oni called ACCA affiliate...not ACCA member....
v nida gain experience n knowledge tru out d years....n then qualified as a member...
my exposure is not wide...but wat choice do i hv??
except to complete ACCA fast, n 2 b faster 2 enter in2 d real world 2 acquite working experience...
i tink tats d dream of all ACCA students...pass all exams quickly-->working-->ACCA member....
