How do you guys consider my pay?

Age : 28 and u're fresh grad??

if fresh,rm2.3k is a good pay!! with solid 1 or 2 years ex later,you can easily demand 4-5k...

getting used to move from one uni to another.
just finished my degree.
waste of time & regret it but have to move on...

1. petrol pump cashier >> rm600+rm300 allowance
## jobless about 5 months
2. temp clerk (insurance comp) >> rm850 + OT (forgot how much per hour )
3. mech. engineer (maintenance building) >> rm1800 + rm200 allowance
4. project engineer (oil n gas) >> rm1800
5. asst mech. engineer (oil n gas) >> rm2k-3k

seems like i've been upgrading myself in almost 3 years

##gov servent will get bonus 2 times...huwaaaa

I think what manutd #1 fan meant was he joined the company as a fresh grad, not that he is still a fresh grad

Difficulties : No transport claims, no OT

To be frank, it is quite impressive, because you are probably the first reasonably fresh diploma grad that has a starting salary of RM2k. All of the people I know with diploma can only touch RM2k at least after 18 months work.

still consider fresh? i've been working for 2 and half year already soon might be reaching 3rd year experience.
if you went to Jobstreet, u will notice that an customer services manager max salary was 5K per month.
i think he/she might be working around 2 - 3 years on that field... anyway.. Working C.S really pressure

let me simulate what can i do with rm8k.... not exactly what I would do, but if I could.. heh

1500 car -decent car ...civic and above...
1000 house - rm 380,000 range
entertainment 500 average rm 100 plus a week, which is quite low.
save - 2000

balance 3000


800- food
200-toll- provided u use lots of tolls.
600- petrol
200- parking
1200- shopping....

---

Added on September 3, 2008, 10:10 amactually i can do as im currently based outside malaysia, but will you do it? I currently practise an expenditure of 30% and savings of 70% . You should do that, but then again, its very nice to spend money.

RM 1k for RM 380k house? i dun think so, unless u put deposit 200k for the house...

Yup totally agreed because for a standard RM380k house you might be looking at RM2k and above for your monthly repayments even if you take a 25-30yr loan
