You are not really underpaid for your position. what i can suggest you is to move to another company with higher position to get better offer.
do you get any increament for the past 2yrs you have been working in the company?

yeah i do, when i join this company my basis was rm2300, i got increment abt 6 time in past 2 years

( the salary is not include OT and other allowances, which are not taxable )

so, usually i saved 10k per month.

my salary is average here in Stockholm. if you stay less then a year or 2, you might get back 40% of you taxes.

in general, there's no much different between higher or lower salary, if you earn more, prepared to pay tax up to 70%, but you got big money for your retirement day!

The RM10k job offer is in Malaysia. I'm drawing more than that now if going by present exchange rate (i'm based in Msia but drawing SGD at the moment)
However as this is up & coming industry, i foresee much opportunity therefore i'm willing to make short term sacrifice.

not really a lot then. If you work in Spore, you can get a lot more than this. Last time i used to draw 2 salaries as my salary is paid every month in RM and i was given fixed month allowance in SG, with accomodation provided in a high rise condo and etc. But now changed to a permanent job in Spore. Manage to save only 12k nett a month after all the expenses...=(

sigh.. we were just told tat some of our job function in my dept will b outsourced to Msia BPO. so some of the staffs will be retrenched. > 20 staffs are affected. although i'm not affected but its really sad to see my lunch kakis/colleagues leaving the company

Yes i know but as i said i'm willing to make this short term sacrifice as in long runs i'll gain more. Right now, i'm drawing salary & daily allowance in SGD. Also accommodation, utilities, laundry & transport are fully paid as well.
To save Rm12k per month you need to be earning close to SGD10k per month. How old are you & how long have you been working?

I need to know your basic pay. Fresh poly grads in engr field could demand around SGD2k few years back.

guys/gals... any1 got retail marketing/merchant service/similar outdoor marketing post without actual sales target? i really interested & i'm actually desperate 2 leave my current job... i tried for senheng retail marketing executive but they offer me corporate sales exec. instead which ir ejected coz COME ON! if u're a company's boss n wanna buy eletrical items, won't it be cheaper to get htem directly from manufacturers?then d merchant service group manager in my curretn company is a close fren of my current boss... my % of changing dept... > 30%... coz i'm d only 1 under my boss...
