should be upgrade to 12gb of RAM for all model to prepare for the Apple Intelligence 2.0

Current 16 pro only 8gb rite? That will be quite a big jump if up to 12gb.

yes , this might be the reason why the current apple intelligence isnt agressive enough , hope to see more complete package when introduce the 12gb ram

Pro Max rumored to get biggest battery ever for Apple. I hope Pro gets a battery bump as well. I’m eyeing the Pro due to the 12GB RAM, vapor chamber & redesign to alu.

Frankly the Ti on 16 Pro lineup doesn’t appeal to me. A bit too heavy since I use the device to read a lot.

I’ll admit the Ti finished desert titanium looks good. I’ve owned and handled desert titanium, black and natural 16PM. Not particularly attracted to it. Swapped back to 15 due to form factor and weight. 16 Pro weight like a brick for not much more screen versus plain 15 so nope.

This will be my first Pro purchase on launch day. If they don’t mess up the battery. I would consider the plain 17 if it has A19 + 12GB Ram, but it’s based on iPhone 16 design, so I guess I’ll swing for Pro.

Or if it doesn’t appeal again I’ll just stick with my 15. I feel Apple need to do more… moving the logo down is not a feature I care about…

Ok, watched some YT on iphone 17 and 18... I think I'll hold and wait for the 18 instead lol. or maybe i'll butt itchy and get 17 pro to play with maybe 3 months post launch.

Bigger battery also "can" translate into more power hungry chip, since Apple is not that kind to bump up the power just to give user more Juice.

At least a newer design, I'm more interested on what's under the Camera Casing. Judging from all the leaks we have to date, we unsure the camera specification.

100w impossible haha , china phone using single-cell battery with high density battery also slowly downgrade to 80-90w , actually as long as got improve over time , not necessary must direct bump to 100w , user pun can feel happy already.

Agreed minimum must be 90W, anything lower is unacceptable especially since iPhone cost so expensive

Frankly speaking, after move to iPhone, i don't feel there's a need to super charge my phone in short period of time.
If, my phone doesn't last a day... assume only left 40% at 4pm, i probably will let it charge for 30mins+ and use it till end of the day and left it charging overnight.

Plus iPhone don’t really have huge batteries to begin with so not that big a difference.

I only charge to 80% so still okay for me. Only when I’m out extended period of time do I max out to 100%.

Actually wireless charging make your phone more heat up compared to wired charging , that will highly degrade the battery health. Dont think apple will give 50w on magsafe.

That's the thing, when you tasted China fast charging suddenly apple charger feels like a antique. Take my IQOO Z10 7300mah as e.g , it only needs less than a hour to charge from 20% to 100% using a 90W. When you get used to speed like that , trying to charge & wait for iPhone to finish charging is very frustrating.

What WOW 50W wireless charging? Means wired charging is even faster?

It's a maximize profits strategy by giving us old tech but still paying $$$$$.

Most likely it's fake but even if it's true, you do know that fast charging (especially wireless charging) generates more heat and it's bad for your battery, right?

I heard Apple might remove the port for future phones.. No more wired charging. Not sure how true is that.

That means the 17 Air don't have Type C USB, no wonder laa it's got 50W magsafe.

Until they find a way to do so, else not practical. I also hoping to see port-less phone.. but then.. how they going to solve the heating issue? Need to have gap somewhere for the heat to exit the phone.

Heat doesn't release from the charging port. It's usually transferred to the back of the phone and let the material spread out the heat. Even for current phones with charging port, the heat doesn't come out from the port.

The aluminium frame is actually a material downgrade from titanium while maintaining the same price (best case scenario).

The Sunset Orange does look unique though.

The most attractive "feature" to me.. is the RAM.. I don't use MagSafe charging because it turns the phone into a hot potato..

i think most of people dont use telephoto on iphone included me .... because it's sux , u really have limit on 12mp telephoto , BUT once u try Vivo x200 Pro telephoto or the telephoto macro shoot , no joke , u will feel that it like open another new world and will be using it often than before

I think these are rustic colors. Pastel is softer and more muted.
I like rustic for its aesthetic and earthy.

I think I'll have to go see hands on before jumping on the color. But i'm a case person... so it won't matter much if i just SLAPPP a case over it.

For me, I will always go for the special color for the model. Though that blue also looks nice. I will go for that orange one.

Or you can change the battery and save some money

I can't really tell the difference between my iPhone 14 Pro Max and the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max in terms of daily usage.

I didn’t feel any performance difference between 16 Pro Max and vanilla 15…. Because I just use browser, YouTube and WhatsApp. Went from black ti to natural ti.. and back to 15 since I like the form factor more. 16 Pro is unnecessarily heavy compared to plain 15 so I didn’t bother.

I want to find excuse to upgrade to 17 pro… still finding

Yes 16 pro max was meh for me. Now 17 pro also meh for me. I backup photos from my 15 to a USB C thumb drive also very fast.

The selling point for 16 actually was the apple intelligence , if they could make the apple intelligence great , actually it will shine the 16 series , but it's sad that it is not.

Another feature that i like from the iphone 16 was the filter bar , it make editing so much easy even for a newbie that dont understand those Exposure/Saturation/Highlight/Shadow. Just playing around and it's so easy to find the right spot. Seriously it save damn alot of time that from previous iphone that u need tuning the expose/highlight/shadow 1 by 1.




So far this feature don't available on any android phone , only the recent release huawei pura 80 ultra actually do copy this filter bar which they called as "XMAGE"

Guess 17 pro is my next change :\

Unless 17 pro this year goes USB 4.0 which i dun think they will.

Used to the screen size very hard to transition back. I felt that back then from note 4 to s5.

But now even normal iPhone so big (I kaki iPhone mini and kaki 1 hand use phone). I used 16 pro max 2 weeks felt it was too big and heavy, and take up a lot of space in my jeans pocket. Carrying a brick around. Very sad they don’t want to do mini anymore.

If they have a mini, I might get it for the form factor 😂🫢 but not worth it la, cause battery smaller you charge more, more cycles it degrade the battery faster.

Yes, difficult to transition back. Screen is one factor but the battery life is also important for me. Pro series also has better specs so it’s hard for me to get the vanilla version.

OLED was the biggest game changer for vanilla. Otherwise performance was not such a big issue for me due to my usage pattern. That’s why I’m going to try and skip this (which I will fail halfway due to backside itchy). My upgrade cycle was 3 years being the longest. Prior to iPhone 7 I upgrade every year.

I tried 16 PM because the allure of the Ti frame. Which is very nice and I do like it, just not ergonomic due to weight. 120hz didn’t do anything for my use case.

Cameras mainly as I use a lot for photography and of course the 120Hz screen now.
