I had ~5 months contract left, just walked into Unifi Store. Asked got any promo and was just offered that plan.
Had to take Unifi mobile sim card for 1 month but cancelled that sim card right after my unifi fibre plan was updated. Got my prorated refund for unifi sim card too (lost RM10 je for that, so no biggie).

Ah nice, fellow PD-ian! I was born and raised in PD but my sister moved to Seremban so I'm in KL or Seremban most of the time. I do go back occasionally as we still have a house there. Did you go to the one in TM Point near Billion? I want to inform my relatives to do it too.

so, he help me ask Unifi Team that handle other ISP for GN630E ONU this wednesday

then use GN630E temporarily, call HBC, then provision VLAN209,400 and 500 to LAN 1
since it has TR069

I hope I get that ONU so, can tear-down and replicate it's response

Best package for those who want to renew contract currently. Dont waste time go to TM point, call 100 yada yada. Just request to terminate your account and wait for their call to counter offer.

My Case:

I am on 300mbps, RM119 per month

First offer to renew the contract was standard; stay on current package with 6 month waived. but now need to subscribe unifi mobile minimum 1 month.
I hesitated since I know I will end up paying more because I will forgot/delayed the termination after 1 month due to the hassle.

Went to TM point, offer is worse than telemarketing:
RM119 - 300mbps, 6 month waive, sub unifi mobile 39 @ min 3 month
RM89 - 100mbps, 6 month waive, sub unifi mobile 39 @ min 3 month

I put my renewal on hold, after few months came here and saw SWU 5.0 packages. Instantly request termination from portal and got the call after few days.

SWU 5.0 is without UniFi TV. So, you need to try other plans.

How did you cancel your Unifi Mobile? within same day of your registration? at Unifi store? Immediate cancellation or need to wait for 3 working days for HQ to call for verification?

Got the rm90 stay with unifi 500Mbps but must let the technician visit onsite only can complete the order , dunno why need so troublesome.

Actually not needed unless you get a new router. The technician paid a visit to my sister's place too just to pass her the new router which we are not going to use it anyway.

Yes, that's right. The technician checked and said our router is better, hence he didn't configure the Skyworth router and just passed it to us.

Mine was simple though. On site tech whatsapp to confirm appointment and I direct mentioned I'm using my own router and he just reconfirmed my unifi login and pass with what I have and he said he'll do the settings on his side and just restart my ONU and router after 10 mins, and he'll drop by to pass me my router.

How many ports are there on a terrace housing DP? I'm currently surveying for a house, and unifi ports are one of my priority. The DP behind my chosen house got 12 thin cables going out. Is there any more free port?

Just ask any TM agent or go to TM point to check coverage

They should be able to know almost immediately in the system whether port still available

After 3.0 contract finished, right?
