Can anyone guide me how to use my own ONT/ONU modem? The default Unifi Skyworth modem sucks.

what model? gn630v? you use as 2in1 or modem only?

steps would be

1- unplug fiber cable and restart the modem
2- plug ethernet cable to device and login the modem
3- find ONT password (SN also since it is skyworth but may not needed)
4- put the ONT password into new modem and should be good to go

For Unifi we have username and password for the PPPoE, how about Maxis fiber? Anyone know about this? Can we request from Maxis if we want to setup our own router ?

Have you called Maxis customer service to ask? You are their customer, they may guide you what you shall do.

Actually helping my fren to ask, called, engaging or half way disconnected. Will call again. Thx.
Wondering ISP will block or tie to thier own router only or not.

Go to the correct thread to ask, yes Maxis can use own router. I'm using my own Asus router in Maxis.

Format has been changed since then. Now it’s

PPPoE username - account number on your bill starts with A (A12345)
PPPoE password - A123451 (additional numbering 1)

Bro, I figured out I have the Fiberhome router modem (2-in-1). Can you guide me how to retrieve the ONT password?

Sekian, i done installation the technician tell me check the speed after 2hrs, i check mah plan still 300mbps PRO but no swu plan changed mentioned. Speed vary, some stuck at 350 some at 500 depend equipment

Hi guys, I have a question for the self portal. I was trying to terminate using self portal and it always comes out with this, it’s been a day and still the same, anyone experienced the same?
