is there any way to call TM100 and get support from Level 2 HBC directly?

logged a ticket with dl speed dropping below 1Mbps, ul speed still 200Mbps, then technician came verified not issue with client-side devices, escalate to Level 2 and then case closed???

now I tried reboot modem/ router and totally not getting ip from pppoe. online chat agent ask me do the same steps all over again.

I came from sabah and currently using 2 ISP, Unifi and Celcomdigi (CTSB Own Infra)

Based on my Aug 21 post, it is -22.4 at that night, now it got lower to -21.7 dBm at morning, guess something is going on la.(still need confirm the signal dbm at night)
I guess, should not be my side issues, but TM performing upgrade?

Or lower signal at night is normal, as other customer online?

Anyways, for LOS issues, guess need to see how for next few days la, as just replug fiber get it lower to -21.5, then it back up to -21.7 after 30 mins.

Because of the horrible routing, I considered taking Allo as my backup fibre plan while I serve Unifi's contract for another 18 months.
My area is covered by both Allo and Unifi's infra, after checking with Allo's CS they told me it is impossible for customer to have both Unifi and Allo service in the same premise despite they are on different infra.
Anyone encountered things like this before?

Well, in this situation I only speak of my own use case. If others are willing to commit to Maxis on TM infra? I won't tell them not to switch if they really need the public IP add-on.
I personally just hope TM offers Public IP guarantee as an option the way Maxis does. It's actually more unlikely for Maxis to expand their infra to my neighborhood to give that last push I need to move over to them.

Long term though, IPv6 is the only way to go. Talking about it with kwss here a while ago and reading up on it makes me wonder how long that will take though.

I remember hearing years ago that Maxis was using Unifi’s backbone. Maybe it’s time I revisit my Unifi contract.

I am also interested in another last mile provider but only TM infra is available. I always wonder where do people stay with multiple last mile provider.

What if you just subscribe without telling them you have TM? I think it is just that they do not want all the noob complaining later on they cannot transfer since it is the "norm".

I tested Maxis during evening and it seems they are congested too, just not as bad. Maxis' latency during congestion is 10x better than TM. Lower packet loss than TM.

TM made it excessively hard to terminate service. In NBN, you just do it online and "service offline". No call. No nothing.
You go to the website of another telco, click click, NBN receives an XML file, new service online. No visit, no contract, no nothing.

I have no clue how a newcomer decides which area to hit.

Bad fiber won't cause this. Because there is only one fiber, not like in data center installation where you have 2 fibers, one for TX, another for RX.
