It's damn cold in Kyoto now. Low of -2, high of 7 celcius. Luckily we managed to buy the pocket warmers from a 100 Yen shop. Very useful.

Ok , I've checked first page and search "Visa" on this thread but I couldn't if we can ask Travel Agency to apply the Visa for us ?

Ok nvm found it . Hopefully these few documents will settle it - passport , IC , bank statement , payslip , IItinerary .

Is the company certificate really necessary ?

Got a half day or a day extra to spend, any tourist places to recommend that's not in the middle of Tokyo? Kamakura? Yokohama?

if you booked a luxury tour with tour agent, then you do not need to show them further document. if you apply on your own, you need passport, bank statement (certified true copy from bank), itinerary (both flight and tour) and also company certificate unless if you are selfemployed.

hello guys,

Just wondering, if I take train from Osaka to Tokyo, and then Tokyo back to Osaka, how much will it actually cost?

I'm actually comparing prices, either to take a return ticket KL-OSAKA-KL, or just one way KL-OSAKA, one way TOKYO-KL.

Thanks in advance guys

Glove nessasry? ...I go Japan at 2011 Winter Time...outside temp 5C waiting at Disney...my glove are so thick.
Glove are super mandatory if go winter country.

Luvimp...you must didn't go any Winter country before.   Zero Experience ; I can say that way right?
Winter snow and cold temp are not the killing part....those are small case....the most killing part are the Wind.

You are so right my friend.
This is my 1st time going to country with Winter.
I will be bringing a pair of gloves cause i will be heading to Hokkaido b4 i go Tokyo.

Is jeans sufficient at Tokyo?
Normal sports shoes or must have boots?
Scarf for men needed?
I really wondering is it really that cold cause i know weather at Tokyo should be around 6-10 degrees in beginning of Dec, right?
