Tm 500mb above is not even that good. In many destinations your single oversea destination wont even reach 200mbps so whats the point? Good for local speedtest showoff, bad for real use. QUOTE(failed.hashcheck @ Jan 31 2024, 06:45 PM) Evaluate your usage first. This is true, bet how many will eventually benefit from free speed upgrade 500mbps and above. If still want maintain Unifi even the SWU plan 300mbps is more than enough. If your usage pattern not involve making lots of connection to lots of place like torrent or having many family members at home, eg: only downloading from single source from oversea server, Maxis 300mbps has better value. QUOTE(failed.hashcheck @ Jan 31 2024, 06:45 PM) Evaluate your usage first. True I think 500 mbps ok for me with many family members 24 hours. Have been using this for 5 years. Although money matters but after all the different is RM 20. After 24 months can change againIf your usage pattern not involve making lots of connection to lots of place like torrent or having many family members at home, eg: only downloading from single source from oversea server, Maxis 300mbps has better value. QUOTE(loutze @ Jan 31 2024, 10:49 AM) Yesterday was free to visit that desinated "Unifi Authorized Dealer". One Alphard Pak Cik came into asking staff at counter before me what was the mystery gift... in between the lines "mana TV?" LOL. As expected. Unifi never fails to amuse us, in a bad way. Pak Cik claims these Unifi / TM is scamming existing customer... curse all the way out the door. Conclusion is only to promote their new Unifi or HyppTV package jer... mystery gift was just some small bag (smaller than those proper supermarket green bag) This post has been edited by Max2006: Jan 31 2024, 07:37 PM |

Any winback promo still active? Currently using Maxis.. Contract ending soon. Thinking to downgrade to 300 or 100 since current usage never exceed 100 unless I download something which hardly do now. enduser liked this post

for mine,
plan before relocation on DEC 2023 @profile @billing =300mbps, speed test =500mbps, plan after relocation on JAN 2024 @profile @billing =300mbps, speed test =300mbps (TM will do calibration based on profile speed) Note, make sure the plan speed to be changed according to the upgraded speed. if not, you will getting a low speed later on. |
