Unifi is broken in Batu Caves.
PPPoE fail to connect.
ONU state fluctuate between O2 to O5 back to O2 again.
Fiber reading -22.95dBm

The ONU red light diagnostic is not accurate. Once it is in O2 and above, red light will not appear but it is still a fault in the last mile.

I think they screw up something in their OLT management platform.
There is ONU to OLT communication, but the ONU doesn't capture the OLT port MAC address.

Working again now.

~940Mbps max.

Max speed is probably the same with the Skyworth ONR.

Also, it's very rare to be able to get the full 1Gbps on Wifi so yea my previous set up with the X3060Z is good enough for me.

Not sure why UniFi following this route. They should provide a 2.5GbE ONU or XGPON instead of bundling everything into AIO factor. That is just a bad move.

Free 6 months as well? I saw in facebook some agent is asking for 1 time fee to stay with maxis. Just wondering if Maxis has similar SWU package.

TMPoint usually gives good offer if they have a chance to snag a walk-in

At least that was my experience

Yes free 6 months. No need to go through agent if you still have intention to stay with Maxis. Once you apply for port out, Maxis will call you to counter offer, as their 100mbps also same price as unifi now.

Rm79 for SWU plan, or Rm79 contract 3 years if not mistaken. This one better check properly as to some, 3 years is very long contract.

Tm unifi just upgraded my plan to 800mbps. and gave me this Fiberhome HG6145F3.

I had an existing DECO M5 mesh wifi.

But the problem comes when. I change the combo mode -> Bridge mode. I reset my DECO mesh and authenticate the PPPOE service credentials with proper VLAN profile. it's not working.
Okay nvm then I change back the ONU/combo box to combo mode again.

suddenly. the internet led start blinking. meaning I can't access to the internet.
I had the correct PPPOE service credentials
then I didn't touch anything, other than toggling between "Combo Mode" and "Bridge Mode"

I can't find any other people who got this "HG6145F3" on the forum. so.... help...... bangwall.gif  bye.gif  bye.gif

Probably for locations with ZTE OLT.

Heard that the compatibility of universal ONU with ZTE OLT is not great.

They give u HG6145F3 to replace your current main router. You can use wizard to setup everything 1st. Get your service login information include password & most important thing is ONU password from your old router or ONU. Input the ONU pwd.

HG6145F3 menu>Network>Auth>OLT Auth>Passkey is ONU password.

Once connected , Play Store Fiberhome app & use it to add your mesh clients or to use built-in speed test to test your subscribed plan. This is actual/trusted speed of your 800mbps.
