UniFi offer:

Frist 6 months free 1Gbps (Save RM954) + 18 months of Rm159/month for 1Gbps

After 24 months it would be Rm159/month but the speed will be reduced to 500Mbps.

I am expecting internet speed to be cheaper in 2 more years

This sounds good. Thanks for the update

just done my 1gbps install, gotten the dlink, speedtest using s22u or ip15pro can get 1.4gbps, but then biggest problem i have is wifi connection, the router sits at ground floor, where i work upstairs, and the wifi connection is really bad, saw some suggestions here to use bridge or ap, so i've used my existing ax73 to be used as ap, wifi improved, but i have intention to upgrade my ax73 to something like be550/be805 or xe75 (1 pack) or be65 (1 pack), but i saw some seniors say if using these as AP, it will waste the hardware, but i just need wider & stronger wifi, and quite happy with the dlink since can achieve 1.4gbps, and bridge will just limits to 940mbps. please advise.

Just subscribe 500mbps and above to get public IP

I'm using 500mbps. Have requested unifi to change to public IP.
Reason given by them is either i need to have CCTV installed with proof given. Otherwise i will stuck in Private IP.

500mbps should come with public IP by default.

Just noticed my 5GHz WiFi channel gets reset to 44 every day on my DIR-X1860Z router.

Is it just me or is it common on this Unifi provided device?

Since they "finally" updated their database to reflect the correct package.
I had to email them to get public IP back.

So just now I chat with CS to check if my ip address (300mbps plan) is public ip or private and she told me this. Can someone clarify? I thought 300mbps plan should come with public ip by default?

after switched to time fibre, long time never pay attention to the price of unifi, seems like now unifi is also very affordable for 300Mbps/500Mbps now too... not bad...

GN630V run it on bridge mode

Use PPPOE on ASUS router, stick to default MTU 1492 unless you are facing issues

1492 is the highest possible MTU on Unifi

Anyone having problem using Rustdesk? I can connect without any problem at my location, but 2 of my clients at different location cannot connect to the Rustdesk server with or without custom DNS, very strange.

Can request but it depend on the Unifi Expert Team who will site visit your premise to check whether it is eligible or not.
