Probably CGNAT server congested.
Enable IPv6 can also help improve performance.

since that year say IPv4 will get use up, i enable IPv6 never off,
i don feel the different when public IP to private IP, just sometime will get slow
torrent, if good seed also can max out speed 38, 39MB/s on 300mbps plan
*
Still using IPv4.For some reason always getting captcha , mail always ask for security. Some website ipv4 faster if not congested.
QUOTE(heLL_bOy @ Nov 4 2024, 09:13 PM)

I would suggest leaving IPv6 on especially if you have a private IP. IPv6 is less congested than IPv4 and from experience, routing is much better.

SWU4 ? how much for 500mbps ? if rm139 is over budget.Maxis 300mbps new user promo rm99 and 500mpb same price but with free router and etc.
Possible to push 300mbps to rm99 for unifi and add extra rm10 for public IP ? Don't really need 500mbps as just surfing.
*
Yes it is Rm139.
If over budget better you get Maxis. Rm99 300mbps plus Rm10 for public IP.

finally about to get my 1gbps install tomorrow, from 800 to 500 now to 1gbps, may i know whats the best install for these? im currently using tp link ax-73 with alcatel lucent, and having drop off on my work station on upper floor at times, should i use the dlink ax3000 solely, or should i use dlink ax3000 as bridge mode and then ax73, or i ignore ax3000 completely, and use my current setup.

I installed the 1Gbps SWU4.0 on October 17th and initially experienced frequent internet disconnections throughout the day, as reported by many others in this forum.

I decided to monitor the issue before contacting UNIFI or MCMC. My setup includes a D-Link as the modem and a TP Link BE550 as the router.

After a week, the disconnections became less frequent, with only one or two modem restarts needed.

By the second week, the connection was stable with no disconnection issues, and download speeds consistently above 950 Mbps.

It seems I won’t need to reach out to UNIFI or MCMC for a report after all.

I received this from my vendor this morning.

-----------------------
Dear customer, if your on-premise/office is using TM ISP or TIME ISP. Currently, there is a Myix route issue from TM to TIME, the whole of Malaysia. We have already escalated the respective to check further.

UniFi offer:

Frist 6 months free 1Gbps (Save RM954) + 18 months of Rm159/month for 1Gbps

After 24 months it would be Rm159/month but the speed will be reduced to 500Mbps.

I am expecting internet speed to be cheaper in 2 more years
