Currently on Adaptive QoS, should I turn it off or set to bandwidth limiter mode so that I can limit bandwidth on certain devices? I have too many devices connected to my router.
*
The router's cpu can do traffic shaping/QoS, but at the cost of slower download/upload speed because the cpu is not that powerful.

So turn it off if want full speed

My Unifi 500mbps contract had ended and I'm planning to subscribe to their home bundle offer of Unifi + Netflix + Mobile (2 SIMS) for a certain amount per month.

Thinking of forcing them to pay off RM500 for my current mobile line in order to terminate its contract (penalty) in lieu of their free 3-months bill payment.

Do you think they will layan? Or maybe I should look at TIME / Maxis fibre..
*
Hahahaha, they do not drop money everywhere. Last time when they have the policy of paying Rm500 from competitors, customer have to pay first and the 500 slowly rebated into their bill for many months.

Hi All,
i have some upload speed issue here that need for advice.
my unifi package "800Mbps Hebat Deal"
Router given by Unifi Skyworth GN630V
when i connected LAN cable to my PC and perform speed test seem like my upload speed capped at 5Mbps, then i switch to WIFI (without restart any device or router) and seem become back to normal upload speed as picture below. Is that something that i needed to configure on LAN connection setting? tried use internal router speed test looks good upload speed >200Mbps. thanks in advance. notworthy.gif

Did your network status on your PC show proper 1000/1000 or 1gbps?
Sometimes its due to bad cable or port. Ethernet speed are supposed to be auto negotiate and requires no configuration at all.

I am. I'm getting 100Mbps download and upload. Seems like I get randomly capped. Happened a few times before. Had to call TM and then run the whole rigmarole of testing and sending technicians to check before they relent and fix the issue on their side. Waste of my time.

I just reboot modem settled.

I'm not sure if it's a Netflix issue or a Unifi network issue, but the picture quality of Netflix on my smart TV is very poor this evening. The show started at 4K resolution and quickly dropped to 360p. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem now?

Yes. And if not mistaken, the 1gbps is upgrade for 24 months only, after which will revert back to 500mbps.

Same here from Penang. Only getting 10+ mbps on fast.com with 300Mbps package. Netflix totally cannot load any shows on tv since evening, but on phone seems okay.
