I thought it's just a mode that turns the router itself into a dumb AP mode like other routers there . might need to investigate that to see if it turns the unit into a regular BTU/onu

windows 11 time and date pop up and change to India or Seoul or New York when my router reset or restart or reboot. no VPN and no proxy .. i always ignore it. checked my router date and local no problems.. Mystery? IP geolocation error from Unifi?

I got upgraded from 800mbos to 1gbps last month
Being so fed up with the 8Pm-2am slowness, I decided to move to maxis
I have no contract with TM
Today when I checked , My port our rejected due to contract. I thought the FSU was free without contract and also there was no mention of the black combo box being on contract when I asked ..
Just called their cs, lodged a report

I think so too. So since will get three months free, I will take up the offer.

Just in case, during the time you sign the restoration form when they change your BTU, any mentioned of renew contract? Do you try to call 100 to check when your contract end? This is so that you can roughly estimate the time when it got renewed without your knowledge.

Most if not all routers given by ISP are crap if you have many devices

If you're curious I use redmi ax6s RB03, it's mainland Chinese market router but flashed OpenWRT on it. Got some from CeX mytown Cheras. got plenty of them on stock, tho have to go there physically.

A little bit complex to flash it if you're not that experienced to flashing openwrt on Xiaomi routers, totally depends on your willing to experiment

Hi guys, I have been a Unifi user for years and I was first given a DIR 850 router. Fast forward many years, TM upgraded my 100mbps plan to a 300mbps plan for free last week. However, a speed test with my CAT6 Lan cable connected to my PC shows 100 Mb/s, and the speed test with wifi through my phone shows around 100 Mb/s as well. What should I do to get a more optimal speed?

1. Downgrade my plan to 100mbps since I don't see the difference atm
2. Buy a wifi 6 router, but I'm not sure which to get
3. Try to request a new router from TM and refresh the 2 years contract

Kindly help me out all the sifus here. Thank you very much in advance
