There are likely some undisclosed terms and conditions associated with those prices. For instance, it's possible that you're required to subscribe to their postpaid mobile phone plan.

100Mb/s for RM64 seems implausible. Even the Rahmah package, priced at RM69, offers only 30Mb/s.

there is news 21st on-wards, Installer need to clear up RG6 Router and ONU, then use new stock: for 100 - 800Mbps will be using ZTE AX3000 Combo-Box like D-Link counter-part. No more ONU + Router

the only issue i have with the white ONR is the 1Gbps port limit.
just make it 2.5Gbps to fulfill the subscribed speed to its truest sense.

Bro , unifi just came installed the black box , speed still 930mbps , I just switched back to tplink AX73.. same speed

Yes, existing ONU simple bridge, live longer, smaller, easier to to use custom Router with PPPoE

I bet after this, people use Custom Router with DHCP, Double NAT.

but this only way make internet cheaper 🀣

Any idea how the ZTE AX3000 ONR looks like? I saw a few people already selling D-Link ONR (white) at a good price. Feeling like wanna buy one unit to test it out.

Maybe this? Widely used by China Telecom. Of course TM gonna slap their Unifi logo on top and the orange sticker in front πŸ˜‚

my alternative set up to utilise the ONR's Wifi

the ONR - 2.4GHz (signal is stronger compared to 5GHz, so even a single unit is enough)
own mesh - 5GHz (signal is weaker but nodes are everywhere)

I get stable connection.
No need to deal with the idiosyncracies of devices continuously switching 2.4GHz to 5GHz and vice versa.

Stay tuned for upcoming offer for 1gbos and 2gbos plan. TM sales on 1gbps and 2gbps plan is extremely poor. Won’t be surprise cheaper pricing for this 2 category soon.

If that allowed..., TM can become like TIME, by pushing ME 171 with AssociatedMePoint 0x4001, ME 148 (OMCI PPPoE) and ME 329

ME 171 (Extended VLAN Config)
tldr; OLT assign VLAN from ME 84 to LAN 1 [0x0101] (Unifi), LAN 2 [0x0102] (Maxis, Celcom, DiGi, etc...), LAN 3 [0x0103], ...
TM can even push to AssociatedMePoint to [0x4000] bitwise cause PPPoE Interface to be created and disallow Bridge

ME 148 (Authentication Method)
tldr; OLT push what protocol and account

ME 329 (Virtual Ethernet)
tldr; OLT ask ONT to create a Virtual Ethernet (like VPN Adapter) and assign VoIP, TR069, PPP on that Interface, thus, disallow Bridge

Rough diagram how ONU works
user posted image

This happen at Indonesia when ISP cracking down Rouge ONU

user posted image

Indonesia people are crazy, after bridge, and hack the OLT to bypass OLT QoS to get no speed limit... that is why OLT can block Bridge Mode

The latest black onr for 1/2gbps can bridge? Because someone reported before, cannot use the ONR

Surely can. Bridge block should be OLT level. If TM enforce such policy even the white one cannot bridge right now.

I don't know, suppose today I received Black ONR part of testing, the installer had an accident, tomorrow morning I receive the Black ONR,
Then I can start reverse engineer, hoping UART not disabled and use same SDK
